    I would love to have an eco pro 2, I got an jfj easy pro and changing pads and cleaning the disc afterwards is a pain, and not always get the job done, I have to the the same process until the game works correctly, specially the ps1, the jfj is a 200$ machine and the eco pro 2 is 1,400$, I need to start saving

      Not anymore for customers but there’s a lot of eBay mail in services that use the 50 disc machines models. Even call your local game stores and ask what machine they use they might use the one in the video.
      50 disc one is an eco master brand new it’s about $22K, used $8500 starting
      500 disc one is eco super which I’ve seen usually about $90K used

    Eco Pro 2 owner here - I'm very tempted to upgrade but I am very turned off by the scratches in the inner ring. Frankly, it looks very bad in this video, is it just the lighting that makes it look worse? And in your other videos, it seems to not be as bad... does it depend on the stages used?
    Like you mentioned, the Eco Pro's finish is not PRISTINE even with the mirror pads... but the inner ring is untouched. I was offered a deep discount on the Auto Smart but am stuck on the dilemma of "better finish with messed up ring" vs "okay finish with untouched ring".
    Any input you have on this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for making these informative demo vids!

      I’m very picky, my lighting is very bright. What I’ll do is run the AutoSmart for whatever cycle the disc would need then always run the disc again once more with a level 1 to have a cleaner finish.
      As for the inner ring, to minimize that I reccomend spraying that rubber Center seal with some water before doing every disc.

    Get a small cd spray bottle and fill with water, every few discs spray the sandpaper pads and wipe off white build up with your finger, it will give a better finish without having to do multiple polish stages.

      That’s what I do 😉

      Sometimes tho I’ll give it two polish stages because the pad is worn too.

      @@jccigarsandvape Btw, the scratches left around inner ring are caused by the disc clamp not the pads. Eco pro doesn't do it cause it has no disc clamp. JFJ can be avoided by putting something between disc clamp before tightening. Disc go devil has 2 types of disc clamp, a brown rubber + soft black silicone. The black one holds disc more with suction than pressure and doesn't leave marks around like brown one. VMI hybrid uses suction type too. The disc clamp in auto smart looks like its the pressure type made of a harder material. They can loses grip during repair because of liquid, or if it starts getting worn then the disc spins around the clamp, instead of the disc+clamp spinning the disc clamps bearings, causing the scratches.

    Have you ever sent one in for repair/needs refurbished? Thinking of picking up a used one locally worried about future cost for servicing.

    • @jccigarsandvape
      @jccigarsandvape  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Nope, never have so far in the 1.5 years of using it. And I use it everyday

    is this machine worth the money ? and what water do you add on the gallon

    • @jccigarsandvape
      @jccigarsandvape  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes if you do a lot of discs and/or get a lot of heavily scratched ones definitely. You use distilled water NOT spring or demineralized water gallons

      Can’t remember exactly I believe u simply hold 5 with the door open. To double check simply call ELM USA.

  • @wolf314v
    @wolf314v 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    Does anyone know if the company that makes this (ELM USA) goes out of business, can the pads be obtained elsewhere or is it proprietary?

    • @jccigarsandvape
      @jccigarsandvape  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      They are reusable, but they probably would not go out of business for a while.

      They are not reusable lol. And yes I have the grit, you can make your own.
