When I was a child my grandparents and uncles aunts used to take me out in the swamp Lakes of Missouri and we would lay trotlines one day go out pick them up the next day bring them back and I was the kid that Mama Said Knock You Out😂.... yep I popped on the head with a hammer each and every one as it went down the line of skinning and cleaning but I am talking about catfish and not snakehead but I get what you're saying
I've had Snakeheads bust up 2 of my scales, so now when I catch them, if I plan to keep them, I do like LL Cool J, (Momma said knock you out), Lol.

I learned that mistake myself, never ever put a snakehead on a metel clip stringer, i had mine doubled clipped and still broke free ! Never again
