      I think the judge also gave hints he did not agree with the prosecution that this was not a terrorist attack. Also mention the unrest after this incident through out the country was perhaps the judge saying it was connected. But on the whole a very good summing up.

    I listened to the judge. I was crying thinking of the injuries these children suffered. One couple looking for their child recognised the clothes but she was so injured they could not recognise her they had to ask her her brothers name. Just horrific! You could tell that the judge would have given him more if he could. Jail inmates will do the deed I hope.

    There wont be a prison where he would be safe from other prisoners.....You would never be able to get a fellow prisoner convicted of his murder. Prisoners generally do not take well to individuals who harm Children

    I think the Judge did his best. as a witness in a murder case, he got 25 yrs Probably out now. So for me 52 yrs is promising.

    What a pity our present day justice system no longer lets judges don the black cap before giving the ultimate penalty. Capital punishment should *_NEVER_* have been done away with. While that monster lives, he will always be a danger to the public, especially young children. All it takes is one hand-wringer to say he's a changed man and release him. In the absence of the ultimate penalty, I hope he never gets released from prison.

    Although the other sentences received beyond counts 1-3 are concurrent, they will come into play if there is a successful appeal and my suspicion is there will be one on some technicality or other. Even at the end of sentencing, the judge says "51 days" and I know that this is not being entered in, but I am distrusting of the entire system.

      He said that HE did feel that it was a terrorist act but the definition in the Terrorism Act (can't remember the full name of the act). The judge doesn't make the laws, parliament does that, he applies the law as written in those acts.
