Matt, you have the best heart. I heard you say what you wanted to do in your future…. Help others. You are a blessing to your family and viewers. Keep being you!!!
Hey you two ..grab pool noodles when you can at goodwill bc you can cut them and wrap them around fragile items like those long stem glass flowers you sold. It really protects the glass
Matt saying he wants to do something to help others reminded me of something I do everyday in honor of my Godmother! She was a walker for fitness, as she aged she began picking up any change she found on the ground. Every time I talked to her she would excitedly tell me how much change she found last week! It made her so happy, as she donated it to Hospice every few months! She passed away several years ago- and I began dropping coins all around town! I hope it makes people as happy to find it as it did my Godmother!! It makes me happy for sure!
Another super video❤❤ Matt, your suggestion of a meaningful life is so right on. You are a thoughtful man. Keep smiling, laughing, loving on your man, Kayla. It makes my heart happy to see you both together ❤❤
Hey Kayla, I'm binge watching all of your 3 year old videos and loving it! I first discovered you about June 2022 and you have been my favorite ever since! It's fun to see you out on the hunt on your own & all the details along the way. Love your sense of humor and all of your knowledge. Thanks for being so fun.😉
You two have done so much for people. You brighten up their days, give us valuable information , you make us laugh, you motivate us to sell, and during Covid, you were a great distraction from the real world😊. When is the storage unit coming?
I really respect the fact y'all will make crazy good deals for your viewers. It really cuts into your profit most of the time and that speaks volumes for your character! 😊
I would add too that a telling sign the bags were fake was the fact there was multiples. Someone who can afford real ones doesn’t typically get one in every color and then donate them new with the tags… but you can buy fakes in multiples
I have my own ebay store as well. I have learned SO much by watching your channel. Some of the items I would have skipped previously are now hot on my radar. Thank you! And Leah is adorable!
That box with handle was what my great grandma used back in the pre-70s. She took 4 dozen eggs to town to sell, then brought home her groceries in the basket. Sweet memory, thx
Guinea pig bed❤❤I'm so impressed how you guys have a knack for this stuff.some of the stuff I would skim over..but this is why you do what you do!!and you saving the planet at the same time!who doesn't love that!!
Dag, I buy a lot of the same items from yard sales here in San Antonio Texas, that Kayla and Matt find, but I can’t sell my items no where near for the same price. Having TH-cam channels and a heavy EBay following truly makes a difference 🥹😳
Noooo!!! Those were real Jordan's!! The insoles seem like they're glued down, but that isn't the case. I had to go to all of my Jordan's that are NEW and never had the insoles taken out, and they have a smooth, slick semi-sticking in order to keep in place. Jordan's aren't as heavy as the older ones, too. The box and tags were legit as well. I'd use the swinging basket for fruit or as a decorative piece with a greenery plant piece. P.s. Please don't take this as me being rude. I love ya'll! ❤ I have so much respect for you all! For all of the wide range of knowledge and self-awareness to be able to spot out generic pieces. ❤
The stitching on the Coach strap strengthens the leather and keeps it from folding over on itself. It was definitely original to the bag. When they paint the inside of the glass on those ornaments it's called "reverse painting."
What a wonderful business plan to help others. Yes there is a bigger meaning to life indeed. I hope you follow your dreams, there will be much need ahead of us.😊Dang would have sold that cat basket fruit basket all day! So nice she gave to you for a profit.
So, I am in my 50s, and I was an avid concert goer, and I bought a shirt at every show. My first concert was in 1979, Van Halen, and the last show I saw was in 2019 …that’s 40 years of concerts. I can’t list here all of the bands, but in my youth, I was a rocker, so think Aerosmith, KISS, Def Leppard, Mötley Crüe, Guns N’ Roses, etc. I also loved Prince and saw every tour from 1979 until he passed. And in my 20s and 30s there was Tori Amos,The White Stripes, Nine Inch Nails, Jane’s Addiction, etc., and there were many others along the way. I had no idea that they were worth anything and so just like the girl you were talking about… I took all those old shirts and made them into a huge memory quilt. It is really cool, but I happened to see one of the Prince shirts that I had on eBay priced at $400. And that is just one of them😢!
Oh awesome Angie ❤ My first concert at 16 was Foreigner my last was Celtic Woman the original line up before they started leaving for their own projects & being replaced with NEW ones 😊 I think the polar opposites of the 2 show the difference in age 😀 Big difference Lolzs! 😅 I'm disabled now so its hard getting out much anymore 🥀
You make my day when you post new videos ! I’m still watching older ones to catch up ! I’ve been watching both your videos for weeks now and I’m still enjoying watching you two ! Thank you for sharing your finds and kindness towards people and each other ❤🙏🏻❤️🙏🏻
The meaning of life is to serve others, you are spot on, Matt! I'm a small fry reseller but something I do that you might want to do is donate a percentage of your sales to charity. I also feel like you both would be great at community outreach type of stuff.
I sell a ton of perfumes on eBay, and here's the deal! The FDA is strict about no used cosmetics in the perfumes & fragrances categories, so you cannot sell ANYTHING open, used, etc. there. HOWEVER, if you sell used perfumes in the "PERFUME COLLECTABLES" category, you'll be just fine! I had a few issues with this exact problem in the past, and this was the solve.
Bottega Veneta handmade Italian bags are know for their lack of obvious branding. It’s a signature of the brand. The green leather is their signature color. Authentic Bottega Veneta bags will usually have a heat-stamped leather tag hidden inside the bag. There are ways to ID the authenticity of their intrecciato Cassette bags but you need to know. May be worth your time as the resale is very high. I do wonder how they would end up at Goodwill but we’ve all heard crazy stories.
They do but would need further investigation. Bottega Veneta’s slogan, “when your own initials are enough” speaks to placing craftsmanship over the logo. The Andy Warhol Studio came up with that motto sometime in the 70s so there’s lots of history behind the brand. The Cassette came out about five years ago and these may be Padded Cassettes. So curious!
Hi Kayla and Matt y'all got some great stuff today 👌 I love it when you find vintage pursesl I use to have so many purses in my younger days. We had a thrift stores back then and I was there at least once a week! It was so much fun. Y'all keep finding the good ones and all those other's great things that you can fip for a good profit!Blessings your friend Joyce from California HUGS ❤️ 🫂 🤗
47:21 I have owned a brick and mortar Thrift Store for the last 6 years. Trust me they are not a big money maker. They are fun, you meet alot of people. I love it
Fun trip! Lot good items and Lots of laughs. Very innovative thinking that young fan is. 👍👍👍 She's a Kayla in training. When Kayla heard her say she found Uggs, love how happy you were for her. See it's things like that, from both of you, that just validates again and again how truly great you both are. So caring, giving, creative, cheerleaders for others and genuinely warm and good-hearted people. I love watching you both so much! Always put me in a good mood each and every time. Thank you both for all the great things you have taught me and love the pulling of the sold items. Just next level up I feel. Have a great day. 🤗 👍👍👍 💞
Amen to that! Kayla has girls so she naturally gravitates toward girl fans. You might call them watchers or subscribers, but same as fans. That’s wonderful! Matt wants to help give back to the entire community. Together, that’s a whole lot of giving power. You are both already giving a lot to us fellow resellers by steadily posting excellent videos, and we appreciate it incredibly. Thank you!
You two find the neatest things at the thrift store. My problem would be that I would have no clue what to look for, but practice and experience comes in handy. Greattttttttt video.
About Archer... I noticed him chewing on a raw ride. I stop giving them to my dog because they do not dissolve. Even our Vet said not to give the raw rides. They have caused bowel impactions. BTW he's so cute
Awesome haul and great sales guys! Slaying it! You two are so entertaining and fun to watch. PLUS, I Am Always learning from you both.💪👍 Keep up the great work and keep being your amazing selves!🥰 Respect and appreciation from MT.✌️🤗
I literally laughed out loud when Matt found the Luke Bryan t-shirt and when Kayla said it was 2013, Matt said that was when he was good. I am sure Luke wouldn't appreciate that comment but it was pretty funny. I still like Luke's songs today though. Thanks for the laugh. I also laughed at how Kayla pronounced the clock. I was thinking, what the heck is a psycho clock and then saw it was a Seiko. Cutest little Kentucky accent ever!
You two are treasure hunters for everyone else. I'm 70 and I've started selling things from my own stuff on ebay and doing a little thrifting as well; better late than never right? It's a lot of work, but pretty fun!
You sell fast because people like you, myself included. 😊 As far as the perfume “bottle,” I’m guessing a jealous person reported it. The chances of it being noticed otherwise are astronomical. It’s all good, now you or girls can use the perfume or you can donate it back. No biggie. Glad you mentioned it, I didn’t know that was a rule now. Keep on smiling. You guys are rockin’ it!
Hello Kayla & Matt, so enjoy your channel. The tapestry wall hanging from Sweden is based on children's book characters, Pettson & Findus- a farmer and his cat. Sweet Swedish series and very cute wall hanging. Best.
Those flowers that you sold for $125 are so pretty and yes expensive. I went through a phase where I was looking for those types of flowers and got out of my phase when I realized what it was going to cost. Lol
LOVE Asher! Simply adorable. Please don’t give him raw hide. They do not digest well in the belly and can cause a blockage. Don’t trust me - look it up. I prefer Nylabones, but there are many others that are great for a puppy/dog. I watch every video and love seeing you two together. So happy for you both!
I have those rabbits! Love them, and they are part of my Easter Decor since I purchased them 20 plus years ago. You guys are fabulous! I've been watching both channels for a long time. Hubby actually watches with me now!
You guys are the best matching couple in the world, you guys work so well together, and I know off camera you guys are the same ,matt your great humor is awesome and matches with Kaylas beauty lol thanks for your videos
“I was thinking we were measured not by what we take but what we give for the giving sake” I thought of this lyric from my favourite Australian Singer/ Songwriter Shane Howard when you talked about giving to others in the future, helping your community, well brother I must say observing your videos over the years, and your warm and respectful manner to everyone you encounter I believe that is your vocation in life in the years to come, caring for others and community. Thanks for another wonderful vlog.
Pier 1 released and sold new versions of those ornaments every year. They are carefully hand-painted from the inside through the small opening at the top.
I sure do miss my local Pier 1. My daughter and I would go every year to pick out a new reverse painted ornament. They were by a company called Li Bien.
I'm always looking for solid-wood frames when I go thrifting. If you look online, an 8-foot piece of cherry, oak, or maple framing lumber is well over $100. Vintage frames can easily be resized if you have the skills. The ones designed for oil paintings will have a 1/2" rabbet - those are the ones to look for.
The clock company is pronounced “ say-ko”. That was a cool looking clock. Very nice haul. Very nice. Yeah didn’t think Matt would wear blue n black sneakers 😅. Happy hunting for those steals n deals.😊😊❤❤
Hello My Favorite Duo!! I have been buying all my goods from Red, White and Blue here in Tampa. I have 3 locations to venture off to on any given day! They have a lot of legit luxury purses, but just as many knock offs! Their prices are pretty amazing on most of their items. If you ever venture to Florida come check them out!!! 😎
Kayla - look and see if you are correct about perfume being full - because I still have mine up and have been selling all winter - perhaps there was something else about the item that caused them to take it down? Good luck. Thanks for all the fun content. I love selling - I could never do the video thing! :-)
I bought a replica of a Chanel brooch for $20 to compare materials etc. The real brooch cost $800 and was made of the exact same materials - brass, synthetic pearls, glass. The other one is a $40 one kislux Backpack Replica - also works for Compare - I can't find any difference and still use it for the gym
Land of Nod is now considered Pottery Barns kids line. I did a bunch of research when I found some really nice Land of Nod curtains. Land of Nod is no longer in business. However, they still have great value!
When my girls were little I used to purchase from Land of Nod. They had the cutest, sweetest items for little ones and the quality was good. Yes, they were a little pricey, but the items lasted and I think we still have most of the items in our family. We pass our still usable baby and child items down to our family. I was the oldest with children first so many of the items I passed down are with my robes who had his first child a year ago.
Sometimes frames that are wooden and carved are worth a lot of money. I have a carved wood frame with an oil painting in it. When I had it appraised, the person told me that the frame is worth five times as much as the painting.
Sure there is a place for a place to sell used goods to not everyone can just gift or have the ability for yard sales. Friend in sweden has a loppis (flea market) for selected friends. They sell & have commision on sales. Bit like an ebay shop. They could do both shop & online. Less sourcing. They are still selective of the items so it dous not decend into junk.
Howdy Neighbors 👋..How you liking all this snow we got last friday Matt..I'm so over this cold weather. Kayla your adorable as always!!! It's usually hard to find size 14 and 15 in shoes. That's the size my hubby wears 14 regular shoes and 15 in Nike..Thanks for sharing y'all..and I like the same goodwill as you all btw 😊..Untill the next time Safe Picking!!❤🤗
The little clay cat with holes could maybe be an herb stripper🤔, you insert the stem trough the holes and pull it trough and it collects the hebs in bowl. Great finds!
A brick and mortar store would not have as much traffic as your eBay store - but still a great idea, you promote it and people will make it a destination 😊
These days, booths around here at Peddlers Mall have a long waiting list and charge per square foot or tile piece. I'm only familiar with one Peddlers Mall in Lexington and a bigger one in Georgetown.
I would do a little more research about Bottega bags. I know people who own these and they buy them specifically because they don’t “brand” them with signatures. The ultra rich just want quality and not to advertise for companies.
Not sure about your assessment of the Jordan’s. I recently purchased some thru Nike. The inner soles were slightly glued down. I had to rip the bottoms of the bottom of the sole to get it out. They were not glued down were they wouldn’t come out, but they were not free floating.
Seiko is a good brand name. Rammstein is in west Germany and is an Air Force base. Most vital base in Europe. The hanging wicker basket is a cat basket and sell for good money. Fruit works in it too. I can even see a little bird sitting in it! Well, you filled the cart with great buys today.
Ok, they looked up the basket in the video 📹 where it said can be used for a cat or fruit. Also it didn't sell well wich is the reason they didn't buy it. So my question to you elizabeth is why are you explaining this item that we all just saw & heard in the video? 😊 Just curious 🤔
Kayla, Fun Fact-I use my dishwasher to wash ball caps. Just put them in the top of an empty dishwasher with dishwasher soap. Then dry them over a bowl tipped up on a glass. They dry overnight and usually they look like new. Just a thought. I don’t hand scrub hats! Yucky!
Hi Matthew and Kayla 🎉... I Love watching you guys. Very professional and knowledgeable 😂 And I'm so impressed with how full the shelves are in your store 😂❤
Matt, you have the best heart. I heard you say what you wanted to do in your future…. Help others. You are a blessing to your family and viewers. Keep being you!!!
Matt you are correct. The meaning to life is spreading love. So simple.

Matt, you are always on the mark. You have exquisite taste…learn to trust it! I’m so glad you looked up the value of that beautiful clock.
Psycho clock too funny 😂 so cute 🩷 “say-ko”. Love that Kentucky accent
I though that! I was thinking "what IS a psycho clock???"
Seiko..very nice watch and clock makers.
@ Yes I do know that.

Hey you two ..grab pool noodles when you can at goodwill bc you can cut them and wrap them around fragile items like those long stem glass flowers you sold. It really protects the glass
I cut them down the center and wrap dishes (the edges) and have had great luck shipping with ZERO breakage.
Thanks for sharing!! ❤❤👳♀️❤❤❤
Great advice!
Wowza! Inventive creative tips from viewers! 👏👏👏 Just BRILLIANT Ya"ll! 😊
My mom sold an old cotton spinning machine years ago and she used the cheap pillows from Kohl's to pad it with. It arrived with no shipping issues.
My 7 year old granddaughter loves shopping at goodwill when she gets any money. A thrifter in the making 😊
Matt lucked out she's a keeper.
I absolutely love the chemistry between you guys. I watch every episode.
You made her day by including her in your video! I’m sure we will bump into you all again sometime since we frequent the same shops!
So dangerous when she stands and moves in that cart!

I found a beautiful vintage Dooney & Bourke thrifting today for $3.98. I thought Kayla would snag this in a heartbeat! I just love y'all! 😊

The green jug is a guggle jug. When you pour water out of it it makes a guggling sound. It’s a fun novelty, invented in Britain in the mid 1800's.

Hello Kayla & Matt, so enjoy your channel. The tapestry wall hanging from Sweden is based on children's book characters, Pettson & Findus- a farmer and his cat.
Sweet Swedish series and very cute wall hanging. Best.
😊You both make my day...love your finds, thanks for tips😊❤❤❤
Kayla I remember when you picked up that butter mold . That was quite a while ago girl😂❤
Great job guys!
Like Matt. Sounds like a very caring good guy
I grab Wilton Armatelle every.single.time. My grands loved their "part time picker" stickers & would LOVE to run into you thrifting ~
I've heard you can put the hats in the dishwasher. I've never tried it though....😊
Little Leah…….cart surfing through Goodwill!😂😂 That would have been Kayla at that age!
Hi it’s me Leah I met them at goodwill
@@SaraLachance you’re so funny. ❤️
Happy shopping you two are everywhere today hyper but fun love ya's ❤❤
I just LOVE watching yall!!
Matt, what a blessing to hear you speak about your heart's desire to help people. I pray you follow God's leading 🙏
3:45 that’s ceramic piece to paint and hold your Christmas cards that you received. 💛💛
ABSOLUTELY AGREE WITH MATT!!!!! DREAMS OF HAVING A STORE THAT ACTUALLY GIVES TO THE COMMUNITY.
Sometimes frames that are wooden and carved are worth a lot of money. I have a carved wood frame with an oil painting in it. When I had it appraised, the person told me that the frame is worth five times as much as the painting.
The Arizona painting on wood is also shaped as the state of Arizona!! Didn’t know if u guys picked up on that or not lol
It was beautiful crystal 😊 My favorite thing in this video ❤
Asher is SUCH a beautiful dog!
Yes he is!! He has the most beautiful eyes!
Agreed! My hubby is a 14
Buying shoes for him is horrible
His dad is like a 17! I feel for him
I know right ...ugh !!! A 17 ? Holy cow !! I couldn't imagine. I thought a 14 and 15 was huge and hard to find . I couldn't imagine a 17 !! 😮
Yes. They should at least start with a booth to see how they do then take it from there 😊
These days, booths around here at Peddlers Mall have a long waiting list and charge per square foot or tile piece.
I'm only familiar with one Peddlers Mall in Lexington and a bigger one in Georgetown.
With taking donations and helping the community, there can be more meaning to having a thrift store than just how much profit they will make.
Crocs at our location that we shop at are $12.99-$19.99. and that's including ones that aren't in great or new condition.
I have been on a waiting list over a year here in central PA.
I'm a little disappointed you left that sports quilt behind. That was sooo cool!
@ I don’t know. Maybe because I’m 78 and don’t hear well. I pretty much comment just on what I see.
Or maybe she’s like me and doesn’t pay attention that much and get up and do other things or get a snack or…
My favorite couple on you tube
You both know how to find the good stuff🥰
Kayla, Fun Fact-I use my dishwasher to wash ball caps. Just put them in the top of an empty dishwasher with dishwasher soap. Then dry them over a bowl tipped up on a glass. They dry overnight and usually they look like new. Just a thought. I don’t hand scrub hats! Yucky!
Ekelund linnen is quite expensive, they make great tea towels which are too nice to use.
I'm always wondering if anyone starts shopping in your cart for things when you leave it at the end of an aisle. LOL
❤ fun run with you 2!
Lia you're so cute! Good job helping Kayla and Matt today!
Hi it’s me Leah I met them at Goodwill and I spell my name LEAH not LIA But it’s fine because you do not know how to spell it I understand
@@SaraLachance hi Leah sorry I misspelled your name!!! have fun thrifting I hope I see you in another video
@ is ok and thank you
Hi Matthew and Kayla 🎉... I Love watching you guys. Very professional and knowledgeable 😂 And I'm so impressed with how full the shelves are in your store 😂❤
