In late 2017, the fully refurbished Coral Reef indoor water park was reopened. The signature attraction is the waterslide tower with five new rides made by Dutch company Van Egdom. From a starting height of 12.5 metres, the colorful slides make their way down. Except for the Cannon speed slide, all slides are equipped with interactive iSlide effect programs that can be selected at the start.
00:18 Maelstrom:
A one- or two-person raft ride that is equipped with two funnels (Crazy Cones). The slide also features LED effects as well as a glass section straight through the slide tower.
01:04 Stormchaser:
A raft ride that is fitted with colorful LED effects as well as a steep drop in the end.
01:40 Aqua Splash:
A body slide that features colorful LED effects. The slide also comes with a long glass section crossing the staircase of the slide tower.
02:07 Poseidon's Peril:
This bowl slide (Super Crater) starts with a long and steep straight section with impressive running lights, followed by a huge bowl with projection effects.
02:44 The Cannon:
A very intense and fast high-speed body slide that runs in a steep helix. Especially in the end, speeds can really get extreme. The speed is underlined by gunbarrel effects which look really cool.
This is my childhood water park and it's really cool to see how they've redone it
I'm a teenager and this is the waterpark I went to all the time even though its a little far away, its a really fun water park! I remember before I could swim i went down on just one slide and I was scared that I would get splashed so I just went on one that didn't splash, also I went on my mum's lap and she lifted me up since the pool bit there is deep and there is a little splash, meanwhile she is half way under water... lol

@@nothing9954 go on all the rides might seem scary at first but so fun try go up the stairs as quick as possible bcs queues are sometimes long choose as many light settings as possible my favourite ride was either purple and pink or yellow and orange, red is the fastest but very fun and yea!

There is a giant volcano in the pool that erupts every so often and it is huge like hou can't even swim through it the currents are so strong

I remember going there in spring 2006 (a magical time when Gnarls Barkley were popular). I was only allowed on the Python (blue) because I wasn't quite seven.
I wondered how fast the Boa Constrictor (red) would be.
Its really quick, i went to coral reef in 2018 summer and the red ride was too quick, defo my favourite

A lot has changed in the last 15 years, and not for the better. If I could go back to 2006, I’d do it.

Last time I visited was probably when I was about 8 (so around 17 years ago) - they’d only just installed the Cyclone (a pitch black flume) then - it was considered pretty ahead of its time... It’s about 15 minutes down the road from us.

I never went there, lived in Bracknell all my life until 2009...
I live all the way in west drayton but my friend and my bros friend asked if they wanted to come with.
They always choose us with someone random whenever they go on a trip.
They didn’t let me film here, I managed to sneak my camera onto the Cannon but no others cause they caught me second time round

They are totally different, Poseidon’s peril launches you into a huge bowl which spins you around, storm surge is very chill with music and isn’t too fast, maelstrom takes you through two cones and is quite feisty and has different movie themes, cannon is an extremely fast skinny slide which is for the bravest and aqua splash is like a family ride with an option to play this pirate game in the slide, so they are all so different slides and so unique.

I need some help, which one is scarier, maelstom Poseidon’s peril or storm chaser? I been in storm chaser but I really want to go in that white dome thingy 😭
LHGV TV do Poseidon’s peril however I recommend for the best experience don’t stay on the boat if you jump off you guys 50 x faster it really improves the experience
