True the lighting is not like the way its done today in 2023 but that is what made the annual hasc concert what it was whicb was in one word classical. There was so much heart in the singing not just people jumping on stage doing hip hop pop music . Yisroel lamm sheya mendlowitz mbd fried really worked hard to make it come out that way . At last theres the videos to watch years later .
crying with joy. miss R' Shlomo even though I never knew him (was born the year this vid was taken...) . love the performance and the dancing. שנזכה, בירושלים.
@@jewishsinger613 must’ve been quite the memorable experience. What were these people like off camera and off stage? I used to be the mic wrangler on these very shows.
@@smsandel It was so long ago. Around 1987. The children's choir didn't talk much to anyone. We had only a 5 minute performance in the show. Most of the time we were in a rehearsal room watching the show on tv. The most we did was shaking hands with MBD
What is he singing towards the end? It's a gorgeous song that I want to learn but can anybody tell me what he is saying in the second chorus, it's not in English. Thanks!!!(:
I see him!! Shlomo!! Gosh, I miss him. My uncle.
Arguably the best Jewish concert ever.
