I loved watching Hee Haw and laughing at all the corny jokes! Roy Clark and Buck Owens did “I’m a pickin, and I’m a grinnin “! It was great!

Hi Todd and Sheila! A North Dakotan here. Something to check out is the Medora Musical and Pitch Fork Fondue. Attend the fondue for your evening meal and head over to the musical for your evening entertainment. The Theodore Roosevelt National Park is beautiful. Maybe do a Sheila hike? 😊

I grew up watching Hee Haw. I was not a fan of country music at the time, but the entertainment of that show made me watch it. I have since started enjoying country music a couple of years ago and we actually listen to that more than any other genre these days.

I remember watching Hee Haw. We had a group of 21 take the Harley's down. Left them at the hotel and got a small bus to shuttle us to downtown at night to party. Weekends the street is closed to traffic and it is one hell of a all night party. On the street and roif tops. Bars a couple blocks off the main have great blues & other music. We also had our own party wagon pulled by the only GREEN tractor on the strip. Way cool!!! Ya-all gotta go back.

In my younger days we were on a road trip to Gatlinburg when we saw Archie Campbell driving up I75. He was driving in a big convertible Cadillac and smoking a big ole cigar. It took a liitle bit but we caught up and got his attention. He slowed down to talk with us as we drove up the interstate. We all got a hugh kick out of it and he seemed to also. After our short encounter he gave a big wave and pushed the pedal down on that big Cadillac to speed out of sight in no time. We were big fans of Hee Haw.

First, Todd your hair is looking great! Hee Haw was a regular weekly staple of watching with my grandmother; anytime I see someone who has forgotten to cut a tag off of something they are wearing I refer to them as Minnie Pearl. Just like the segment they used to have on Hee Haw and sing ‘if it weren’t for bad luck, I’d have no luck at all’, you can chalk the audio failure up to that. And it was nice that Todd was able to stay upright on that picnic bench in the video! Safe travels.

You need to go north in winter and go snow mobiling, riding a snow machine or what ever it is called where you go. You should do it this winter, sledding is fun you see a lot more animals than you would think, but the trails are not always right by a road so you see more than in the summer. You dress warm so you will not be cold, get a good rental sled and it will have heat pad and heated grips. Alaska (snow machines) is a blast on sled, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Michigan have great trails. You have to have a subscriber that has sleds.

It was a lovely state and we didn't even get to Theodore Roosevelt NP. We spent our time in the north central part, south of Minot. Wonderful history there. We definitely recommend it.
