It is so pretty!! One of the new ER palettes has the same-ish color story as the Cosmic Beauty Muse Palette, so I didn't feel the need for either of the two new palettes.
ND Palette Bingo? Yes please! I also bought a couple of palettes this past week…😮 I saw two reviews of the Alter Ego Daylight palette compared with ND and I just went berserk! Decided I had to have it and have also been holding off buying their Midsummer palette (an ABH dupe). When I put them both in my cart I qualified for free shipping! There was a reason why I was supposed to wait on the Midsummer palette I guess. I used a code to get 10% off and I still got free shipping so lots of savings and Happy Birthday to me (not until the 26th but it should arrive in plenty of time to serve as a present to myself ❤). Also, I live in a very hot climate as well and have an enormous bottle of the Neutrogena body oil in my shower (Costco to the rescue). It is scented, but I like the scent. I just can’t wear any other perfume with it and I’m ok with that. I agree there is something unappealing about using really thick body butter type creams on our skin in this weather. It’s just too sticky and uncomfortable so I prefer the dry oil by Neutrogena 100%. Enjoy your new palettes and I can’t wait to see more looks with everything. Have a great weekend! 🎉
Nice deal you got on those palettes! I've tried Alter Ego before and the formula was nice, but I always kept wanting the original palettes over the dupes. I think we are finally getting a Costco in our area!! I've only had Sam's here and I'm ready to see what the hype is all about! Body oils for the win for sure!!!

Your Natasha denona mini palette is so cute. I ordered the Gold for my birthday and nyx blush and bronzer. I used up another powder and I'm almost done with a bronzer. I'm just really trying to enjoy my collection. I did get a gift card for Ulta and a Visa card which I'm thinking of using the visa for an ensley reign palette. I've never used a body oil but I'm really intrigued so I think next time I'm in Walmart or Target I'll pick one up. Body butters are so thick and when you sweat even the slightest they seem to become emollient again on me. I use a shop miss a lip mask and I swear by it. 😂. I would love the palette bingo idea.

I am on a controlled buy, where I have certain categories I don't allow myself to buy until I've used up a few beforehand, that also includes stationery and books for example. I try to make sure I'm not overbuying in any category. OR if I have been in the past, I try to make sure I don't keep going with that habit. Books for example I bought a bunch at a fleamarket for very cheap and now for 2024 my goal has been to read all of my unread books (7) before buying more and I'm down to my last 2! My favorite purchase from july has to be a pumpkin swirl body lotion from bath and bodyworks because I got to visit america for the first time and also got to visit bath and bodyworks for the first time! And the smell of the body lotion is lovely
I love that you apply some "panning" rules/goals to other parts of your life. And it makes me think about other parts of my purchasing that might be getting out of control. I also love that you have been setting reading goals for yourself! I used to read a lot, but since I'm watching K dramas, I read the subtitles...so maybe same thing. LOL.

TH-camr Jen Phelps did a HUGE compare/contrast review project of physical sunscreens earlier this summer. Bubble Plus One and Hero Force Shield were a couple of her top picks. Also, the Fenty Eaze Drops is now down to 29 g, trying to empty next.
I love watching Jen's videos but we have such different skin types that I don't know about getting recommendations from her. I did order a K sunscreen on amazon and it will be here this weekend, so I'm thinking about trying it out before next month's buys and byes. You are rocking using the Eaze Drop!!
I sort of finished a mini Mac Lipglass today. I had little enough in it that I had removed the stopper to get the last little bit out. I'd say I had maybe a couple of weeks' worth of product left - and then it fell into my bathroom sink when the water was running! After that I decided it was better to just get rid of it, given that water had seeped into it because I had taken the stopper out.
Oh man...when you are so close but then something happens. 😱 But I would say you got your money's worth and you used up enough to remove the stopper! That is great!! I would say, yes that is an empty!!
My spouse got a K beauty sunscreen from a friend in South Korea, and it's supposed to be a popular one, but he said it felt just like the other mineral sunscreens we use. I just won't use chemical ones because I always burned with them before I switched and I'd rather deal with the weird texture and whitecast. I wonder how the Asian chemical ones are.
I ordered one last week and I'll have to give it a try before my next Buys and Byes. I know a lot of times they have higher SPFs than a lot of the ones we find in the drugstore here I the US.
