Round 1 does have way better prizes than your average arcade's claw machine! Not sure if they have plans to expand into Canada yet, but if we hear anything we'll let you know :)

I know this is a year late but for an average of 16 turns every four minutes, that's 80 turns for a 20 minute video which means $160, but that's just what we saw on screen and give or take a few

Sadly UFO catchers are very rare outside of Japan :( But hopefully videos like ours convince arcades to put them into their arcades!

FunTime Arena It can be quite difficult! Not that many people won prizes during our trip to the Concord Round 1. Playing a UFO catcher is like trying to solve a puzzle, haha!

You guys made out like bandits! (I'm sure Round 1 did too! 😁.) It's nice to finally have a Round 1 I can call "local". I ended up doing pretty well, myself, the first time I went. I went again this past Saturday and got my own Sriracha bottle(!) and a second Mr. Pickle, which promptly ended up in the hands of a young man who was waiting patiently with his father for the same machine. Sometimes it's just about the win and sharing the joy. 😊 ✌🖖🤘 You guys are the best! Keep up the good work!

That is a SMART MANAGER. This seems like a really good Round 1 location!
He was really cool! He talked with us for a while about all sorts of arcade stuff. He really understands what we're trying to do - it's nice to know that our efforts are appreciated :)
As opposed to the Round 1's who made you stop recording... jerks.
The real irony is - he was actually one of the people who asked us to stop recording during a previous visit! But it wasn't his call. Apparently the policy varies from location to location, and the decisions are made by the general manager. So he didn't want to stop us before, but his hands were tied in the matter.
Hopefully more locations realize that what we do is a huge positive for Round 1 in general, and especially for their UFO catchers!

We have an arcade like round 1 in Australia but it is super hard to win from there.

Hi Angel! We spend a LOT during our Round 1 trips - usually between $50-100 (sometimes more if we're really crazy) The difficulty varies between locations and machine setups, but everything is generally winnable if you have enough patience and luck :) We'd love to see the video of the Japanese crane machines over where you are! Let us know when it goes up!

I agree, Concord has the best UFO Catchers! The one in Eastridge is always too packed and the catchers are usually rigged or way too wedged. Awesome video you guys!!! 😍

Anyway you should go to the Uk (In wales) and do some amazing claw magic there.
I can remember a few years back, I went in a arcade and found that there is still 1 credit left on a claw machine and so I had a go on it. With that I wan like 3 tiger plushes in 1 go.
So know on, when I go into arcades. I try and see if there is any plays left on the machines.

You're supposed to push the plush down with the right arm. They're not built for typical crane pickup.

It was pretty cool :) Unfortunately not all Round 1's (or all arcades really) have the same philosophy. But we do what we can to get the higher-ups to understand that what we're doing is a very positive thing for everyone involved!
