people just throw them just as a joke but i heard this neat tactic, someone buy a smoke and atleast 3 people buy decoys. one of the good places to do this is on dust 2 where the tunnel to B is. Simply throw a smoke and 3 guys need to throw decoys. go to mid and go b or a
Forgot 2 most useful tips. Decoys: stand on your own decoy the enemy wont even bother looking that way. Smoke: smoke should be thrown straight ON the enemy. If you cant see them you did it right because they cant see you either. The further away the smoke is from you the more territory you can see. If the enemy is moving towards you through smoke they cant see anything untill They're fully emerged, but you can see them clearly and get an easy kill.
for all the noobs asking "what about the decoy" the grenade is self explanatory, use it as a fake flash or to make it sound like someone is at a location
You can also use it to fake that your on eco you could buy a decoy when you have glock or usp throw it then buy a gun then the decoy will make pistol sounds kinda useless but still cool
dont play cs on a trackpad if you are serious about getting good. If you do play on a trackpad, this shouldnt really concern you, as you are already giving yourself one hell of a handicapped in competitive play

But matchmaking is a bit different, people have their ego and pride on the line and they will kick you if they feel the bot is more useful. You did Mirage palace smoke staying in stairs, this is a nade I've done before almost every round I was stairs with scout to make sure that I will kill them i if I don't shot them into the stomach, now I realized that when I've managed to improve my aim when I warm up I could simply just shot them in the head but it still could be useful. That nade deserve more attention. It's not that hard but could be quite useful in pistol rounds or in eco rounds.

Then advance slowly towards them and come up to their spot and shoot them through the smoke. this way, theu're left with two choices, they can either peek out of the smoke (and therefore out of their cover) and become exposed, or just sit there and wait for you to ambush them

bind "any key" "use weapon_knife;use weapon_flashbang". You can pull your second flashbang out faster because knife cancels the rest of the throughing animation.
My binds are: 4 = Grenade C = Smoke V = Flash B = Molly/Inc Decoy is left out since I only use it on pistol round. You can still buy with the E key, so why not bind it with a molly? X is for Zeus.
Decoy is also great when you don´t have money. You can use it as fake flash. When the team is don´t talk with each others, they can run to the decoy and well you got a clear spot.

No mention of one-way molotovs? They're so useful and relatively unknown... I'd suggest looking up some so that you can safely peek corners where there would likely be a player watching.

i have a file related question, if anyone has a fix that would be great. Whenever I load up CS:GO it works fine until I try to join a lobby, in which it says I'm missing a pak file. It's a pretty easy fix, but it's annoying when I get kicked out of a lobby I'm actually doing well in for once, or someone's playing an instrument over their mic taking song requests. Any fixes to permanently download the file would be greatly appreciated!

Good video, but I think that it lacks a few important tricks for the smoke. Did you mention that people pushing through smokes will be seen by the enemy before they can see the enemy? And be mindful of your barrel sticking out of the smoke. One great thing is to sliently creep through smokes by shift walking. A lot of players throw smokes, expecting the enemy to rotate or wait. The point of that smoke is so that they have the advantage when an enemy moves through it. By using those "sliver" tactics, you can surprise the enemy pretty good. Especially when the enemy is in a clutch situation. Smokes + molotovs are just broken on office, btw. On T-Side and on CT-Side aswell. As a CT you can prevent AWPs from shooting on long or short / connector. Also you can smoke paper or connector to push. As a T you can delay the CT's push super long. Just make sure that you time your utility well!

I have flash on x smoke on c and molly on v and I press them with my thumb. I also have my jump throw bind on space because I use scroll to jump normally
For pop flashes, I usually bounce it off something that slows the speed of the flash for left click, like off the ground, walls, etc. and for right clicks, i always jump up and throw on or over objects. I throw these high so the time is comes down, it is in front of them and they are flashed. Is that a good plan?

I have my Grenade binds on Smoke = ALT + 1 Flash = ALT + 2 HE Grenade = ALT + 3 Molotov/Inc. = ALT + 4 Decoy = ALT + 5 Helps me a lot and pretty easy to navigate through :D
Since you can only have 4 grenades at a time, would it be more effective to buy 2 flashes and miss one grenade or buy 1 flash and be able to use each of the grenades?

Incendiary grenade and Molotov are two different items, they differ in cost and damage output (Molotov is cheaper and has more armour penetration).
You forgot to mention that the molly can also be used as a smoke alternative as you can do with an HE, scream did a tutorial on this i think :)

I dont consider doing the oneway smoke in long A doors cuz they can see your foot even if i try to adjust it they will still see you or you cant see them

I have my Grenade binds on
Smoke = ALT + 1
Flash = ALT + 2
HE Grenade = ALT + 3
Molotov/Inc. = ALT + 4
Decoy = ALT + 5
Helps me a lot and pretty easy to navigate through :D

Since you can only have 4 grenades at a time, would it be more effective to buy 2 flashes and miss one grenade or buy 1 flash and be able to use each of the grenades?
