interesting. I am currently 1808, so pretty much the same rating. To me it feels like there is such a big difference between 1700 and 1800. Every single game drains me completely at the moment.
Yes I see what you mean. It just all depends on your thinking process it feels like. But I will say, 1800’s still make tons of mistakes and play terribly sometimes, so there’s hope!

Dude…don’t waste time learning the bishop checkmate. Your games are not decided by that extremely uncommon pattern. Do tactics, calculation work, and review your games. I maybe wouldn’t even look at endgames. Maybe lucena and phildor and basic pawn endgames.
