- This is the first video from our Kedarkantha Vlog. We encountered hell lot of snowfall in Sankari which eventually lead us to postpone our trek plans. Anyways we took the time to explore the beauty of Sankari Village.
Next part will be out pretty soon.
Kedarkantha is a trek starting from a small village sankari in Uttarkashi district of Uttarakhand. This trek is also considered one of the best and easy all weather treks of india. To reach kedarkantha you need to start from Dehradun early in the morning to reach sankari. Next day try to start early for trek if you want to reach base camp on the same day, which will save your one day. After reaching base camp you need to take proper rest because you will need to get up early in the morning if you want to witness the beauty of sunrise from kedarkantha peak, trust me you will not want to miss the beautiful sunrise from the peak. you can descend back to sankari on the same day itself.

hey i think you have mistaken it. Its Kedarkantha not kedarnath. The kedarnath temple has been closed for winters.

@@the.himalayan.spirit yes...heavy snowfall...storm...It was terrific. We were not able to see anything in that heavy storm at summit btw.😅You can experience snowfall or sunrise based on your luck...right?😂
