- 7 July, 2023,while on Pastoral Visit to St. Peter's Parish, Ụda, Bishop Onah paid a courtesy visit to Onyishi Silas Eze, the Oldest Man in Ụda (Onyishi Ụda) who also happens to be the Oldest Man in Enugu-Ezike (Onyishi Enugu-Ezike) . It was a memorable encounter.
Even as a non Christian the man of God is phenomenal. This is truly traditional to the root. I do not understand the language and I am not from this tribe. What I saw this day gives me spiritual joy and will preserve the life of our bishop.
I want to meet this Bishop in my lifetime. This Priest is example of what Missionary should be

Iam I Uganda, what I have seen here has made me more Catholic, iam only not happy that most old men have died in our community, I listened to Bishop Onah preach about Mathew 20:1-16, that surmon has changed my personal life and my perspective towards life, the role of a human being in building God's kingdom.
My Lord Bishop. As a Christian and a none Catholic denomination, you have demonstrated beyond no doubt that there are still priests and Bishops who are called by our Heavenly Father to serve in his royal priest hood.
You transcends denominations and other Bishops should emulate your humanity.

Fada Bishop you are a credit to the episcopal order in Nigeria and globally. I feel the Nigerian Church can do more towards the celebration of the Sunday for Grandparent and elderly as the Holy Father has established in the annual calender of the Church.
Am not a Catholic but I like the humility found in their priests and done bishops.
The other time, he was conducting the choir; today, he is visiting an old man right there in his hut, in the village. I duff my hat for this humble man of God. It's exactly what christianity should be.

Prayer is a conversation at its core. A dialogue not just between humans and the unseen but also between humans and the people around them as well as their social conditions. A far cry from modern day bastardizations that sound more like a war between humans and the unseen, fellow humans and everything in between. The traditional sensibility around Prayer is pure.

Despite our community based lifestyle; despite our strong social animus, we still lag behind on social invention and good etiquette. When you provide water for hand washing, you should provide a mechanism for wiping the hands. Village setting and poverty cannot be valid excuse against that. We need more social imagination in more ways than one.
