    Had my rdx since January. Best bang for buck chassis out there. Super easy to build and drives amazing on box settings. Can't wait to see you sliding it.

    Hey Francis I'm a little late to watch this video, normally I watch your videos much quicker.
    Been a busy summer...lol
    Anyway I heard you mention about how do you wire the thing up being magnet mounted without having to connect. Will magnets are conductive so you can do a little research and see how to hook your wiring right into your magnets and then when you put your body on your car it will make the electrical connection through the magnets.
    Very cool!!!
    I look forward to a how to video about it, telling the world, once you figure it out!!!!

    So glad to see you digging into the drifting world more! I just got my new Reve D RDX chassis running today, and my MST RMX is sitting in the garage charging. Laterality what what :D

      Lights wise, my fave are the 1 line system from Scale Reflex. Check out their Hella Yellow and vintage lights... it's just one line from power to a soft release to the light string. I use them in several rigs when I don't need anything fancy. And you can plug them into a cheap ch3 light controller for strobing if you wish. :D Alternatively you could do a simple arduino QTPy or something to run the lights off a small battery and fasten it into the body itself. No wires to connect just turn it on.

    You need to look at Acuvance Xarvis XX esc & Acuvance fledge brushless motors for the best RC drift electronics and tun a futaba radio

      Their motors are overrated seen a few where the magnets have came unglued, quality doesn't seem great I can't comment on the ESC's though. Sanwa better than Futaba all day long, Futaba have had their day seen quite a few with faulty receivers from new recently as well, let a lone the price of their receivers

    Nice one pare...I have a question, I'm limited to keeping my rc fleet small but try to have diverse vehicles. I have 3 crawlers and 2 fast Arrma monster trucks I'd like to take on this drifter. Should I get MST RMX or the Redcat RDS and sell one of my TRX4??? 🤔 I only have the little WLToys 284131 to start with but not really a full drifter rc. Thanks

    Amain listed a brushless 2.5 with the R34 body few months ago but it's never actually been in stock, you think it's just an error or will it eventually be released with the R34?

    Hi! Thank you for your videos. I was thinking to buy as a birthday gift for our 9yo son a drifting rc. We have the traxxas ultimate slash, the stampede and two trx4m. What should I choose? The Toyota gr86rb or the bmw e30. They both look amazing, but I’m not sure what is the difference between, besides the body. Thank you!

    • @RCReviewChannel
      @RCReviewChannel  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      You and your son are so lucky sharing the hobby!! All the MST RMX 2.5 chassis are the same so different body styles are just about your personal preference.

      For drift cars, make sure you have a hobby shop with a drift track close by. Tracks make all the difference in true drift car enjoyment.

      @@RCReviewChannel Hi! Thank you for your advice. They both look amazing, so it’s hard to choose. Probably he will enjoy more the Toyota. Regarding the track, unfortunately we don’t have one. All I can think of right now is a skatepark that might be offering a surface for drifting. I will research more, since it will be our first rc drift car. Good concrete I think I can find, but not a special track. Thank you so much!

    About to do the magnet mount for mine. Does the double-sided tape hold well-enough or would glue be better?

    • @robinkesterlives
      @robinkesterlives ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I did superglue on one and it showed thru the paint... the other I used hotglue and put some tape over it so the magnet didnt pull loose and its good.
