I am honestly surprised people never checked wear patterns before, you can insantly see a big difference with certain gloves just by filtering on .15 float and going through all the listings
Ohh I never knew that the Pattern ID impacts where the scratches are present on gloves You're honestly amazing at making the best playskins for your buck
It's actually crazy how much the price difference is. For my FT Polygons, I have a .159 float, I paid ~$225 USD, if you change it to a .149 Min wear, people are asking ~$320 USD. 40% price increase for 6% wear difference.
I had imperial plaids that were .29 but the wear pattern made them look better then most plaids from .28 to .18, wear patterns make such a huge difference it’s insane lol
I'm actually looking for a good pair of those right now, what patterns and float do you recommend looking for? Also what site do you recommend when it comes to buying/trading? Thank you brotha
@@p3rryChi I used buff and it was a quality experience, but i don’t know the specific patterns that have good knuckles and what not, mainly id just inspect any gloves .31 and below and compare them to other low float ft gloves to see if they looked similar in quality for reference. And it’s important to test them with your knife too see if you really do love em. Be picky also, the gloves ain’t going anywhere ya feel me
Found this out for the first time a few days ago scrolling through diamondbacks and testing them on a server Noticed some ft ones with 0.3 float looked super beat and the knuckles were terrible Thought it was visual glitch and decided to look at some ww ones and was surprised when the knuckles were completely flawless for almost 30 bucks cheaper
There’s a pattern on black tie gloves I think it’s 89 where they look so good it only showed the smallest scratch on one of the right knuckles that you could barley see, and the wear was like .34 you could really get a steal if you manage to get a decent field tested float
If you asking about Imperial Plaid, then i am your guy. #1 pattern 206, at 0.15, it is basically FN #2 pattern 456, at 0.19 it is so clean, cleaner even to most low-end MW, imagine min float ft. And even at high float ft such as 0.36 they got significant less wear comparing to others lower float Plaid. #3 pattern 681, i owned this pair at 0.16, and also bought it during the market crash state of cs2 (for only ¥2558.8), the only mini tiny weensy scratch on it is on the left knuckle and it is so small that on almost every lighting it is not visible
@@blankrose9426 Tbf that's just a sport glove thing in general but they are some that they absolutely gutted like Amphibious. You legit cannot make them look good anymore when in CS:GO they had basically no scratches even in bs.
with this knowledge, i can see about a nice pair of gloves for my fade knife. i bought Black Ties for T side (although the wear on the knuckles are p noticeable, it's better than some of the other ones i saw) but still have the Polygons from my previous setup on CT side. they're not bad, but i feel other gloves could do better
I have a pair of moto gloves BOOM FT .151 and because they have probably the best FT pattern possible they ACTUALLY look FN. They look even better than my friends .09 MW moto gloves boom... its insane
I have Specialist Gloves | Tiger Strike in well-worn, they look perfect. Saved myself like a hundred bucks. And before that, I had Specialist Gloves | Mogul in battle scarred, that also looked great.
Recently I bought black tie gloves, I was looking for BS, and suddenly upon inspection I realized that the gloves had not touched the knuckles at all, but only scratches, and the white part was very well preserved in the area of the white part, (fleet 0.51) look much better than any fleet 0.39 and some after the field tested in the early stages, I think what to do overpayment on sale
I've known this for a long time and tried for a long time to find King snake gloves with a good scratch pattern with relatively low float FT (0,15-0,20 range) for a good price but they were often very overpriced on buff.
Both are pattern 1 in that example, but overprints are super pattern based where you can get 3 different variants with them, so I would definitely recommend checking out how they change from pattern to pattern👍
@@TheSlaid Thanks man! I really appreciate it. The hedges were very clean but like you say most patterns around .2 look the same, love how the overprints look for pattern 1. Looking forward to the next vid
My dream glove is moto gloves spearmint. I got scammed for my BS spearmint float 0.56 with a good pattern. Now I bought again a BS pair of moto gloves spearmint float 0.56. I wish this glove was more affordable. I hope to be able to one day upgrade it to a field tested
Great vid, I always watching your recent videos. I'm actually considering buying gloves but where should I look for? Ofc there's steam market but it's not giving me the information I need.
It's shame that you can get really clean looking diamondbacks on field tested while king snakes if you want to get really clean look you need to get really low float mw pair.
Wear patterns have to be checked in game, there isn't a guide for them, but you can easily tell if a wear pattern is good or not by looking at it in game👍
Some gloves look prety cool as WW or even BS sometimes. Polygon personally for me looks better in battlescarred then in FN. FN looks too plastic is hard to explain why
Wait you unironically had to make this video because they actually thought you were lying about float on skins in your vids. Honestly sad people argue when they haven't done a lick of research...

not only on gloves, but on almost any skin too
Ok thx
How do u filter by wear pattern? I see float value but then u would just be looking at the expensive ones
Damn u would make mcskillet proud
Ohh I never knew that the Pattern ID impacts where the scratches are present on gloves

100% facts, I had well worn black tie gloves before and it looked better than some of field tested lol

Spot on, low float field tested gloves are genuinely insane in terms of value. W choice on the polygon gloves as well🔥
yeah, like the video said, you're not paying for a better float, you're realistically paying for it to say minimal wear
This is so true! I saved a solid $100 on a FT with 0.16 float. The thing is indistinguishable from MW.
Damn learnt' alot in this video, thanks!
You have a great day too!
Vice Gloves seem really random with the knuckle wear and overall float value.
Super helpful, I was not aware of this additional wear pattern mechanic. Nice!
I didn’t know this at all, this was super helpful ^_^

This can be apply to skins as well. Some times you can get a pretty cool skin for a fraction of what it cost in mw or fn

Interested in your dream Spearmint loadout - as I’m looking to buy spearmint’s soon.
Yea, as a cheap ass I figured this out, look at black ties 0.37 pattern 300 and 333 then look at min wear any pattern.

How do you inspect gloves with a certain pattern or any item in general? What server? Make a guide please.

What's the best wear pattern for cool mints? Trying to combo with p4 dopller m9( fake sapphire pattern)
hey spaid could you please recommend some good patterns for Spearmints? 😊
In my opinion spearmints that have primarily white with small mint spots covering the back of the gloves look the best, an example would be pattern 8👍
What a polite way to shut people up
thanks for the guide! also what viewmodel do you use in the video?

I cant stand the thumb stains on specialist gloves they grind my gears
I won’t touch moguls for that reason. It’s tragic lol
Do you know what some of the best wear patterns for imperial plaids are É

what pattern(s) do you recommend on the spearmints?
