Great videos, I spent 10 days on the big island in April and it is heaven on earth. Thanks for posting, it keeps the memories alive until I can get back.
Family outing on this road back in '02. Started at MaunaKea ended in Waimea. Truly enjoyed it! Great experience the kids will never forget! Thanks for the menmories
Awesome music and landscape it's been close to 20 years since I first went part way up mauna road in waimea we only made it past a few gates though only maybe 5 miles up.
It is super fast at 2X playback. Hee, hee. Now I remember. That was the trip all you guys took with Scott. You know if you watch those car rallies thru the country side the cars almost go that fast down the road.
Kinda really shows how big that island really is. I was kinda worried about moving there and what people say about getting Island fever, but I don't think that will be a problem on the big island with me haha!
Lololol thank you for this video.... Love this one love it... I was smiling the whole time..... Nice...hope y'all are doing fantastic over there!!!!
Play some Hawaiian local kine music!!!!
If I could I would but I dont want copyrights strikes

Mahalo, a fun ride along! Could see all the Douglas Fir trees at the David Douglas memorial spot!
Damn, how did I miss doing this when I was on Big Island in April? Another excuse for a return visit - as if more were needed!

Makes me want to do some 4 wheelin' here in Colorado. I guess I should record something like this.
Ready to do this drive. Come Halloween 2023 I will. Thank you for posting! 🌴🌋
I need to watch this again. So much fun and love the sweet music. Thanks for the road trip.
Are we there yet? A bit easier to watch than the 3 hour version but I miss the convo, beautiful landscape and spooky driving in the clouds. Mahalo
Nice landscape. I was not aware that there are cattle ranches that high up on the slopes of the mountain.
I love back roads! Love this music, too. I can watch this scenery all day long, next best thing to bring there. Mahalo 💕👋
That’s some fast forward love ❤️ the music thanks for sharing your videos with us great drive
That was absolutely beautiful.
You & Andi open gates like the prize models on The New Price Is Right. 👌🏽
Love the music. 👍🏽👍🏽
That was pretty cool, especially once you got into the clouds.
Awesome video. My car can't take the road, so I am happy to see it through your camera lens.

Get them next year..mahalo for watching
If you were sitting in the middle like a proper cowboy, you wouldn't have to drive or mess with the gate! Sorry, it was too tempting. Great video!
how long is this road and how long did it take you to get to the end? I love the scenery and the cloudage
I think its 44 miles. Took 4 hours or so
@@StrangeHawaii Wow.

That would be a great ride on a Can Am side by side.
