After watching so many interviews on this Channel, I've really learned to appreciate Thorin's interview style. He invites his guests to the table to tell their story, especially the parts of their story that is pretty obscure and gives us great insights in their lifes and into the workings of the industry. It is a delicate touch that shows both respect and reciprocity between Interviewer and Interviewee. It's not about creating a Hit-piece for clicks and likes, for a flash in the pan. This series crafts evergreen content that allows esports fans years from now to go back and discover about these players and coaches and others within esports.
I typically watch all the content, never comment/like and I need to apologize for that. This interview is proof of Thorin's belief that an interviewer's job is made infinitely easier when the subject is able to converse off memory... how you led the topics flowed amazingly and Peter has been extremely eloquent. As a past donor, thanks a lot (and thanks Jerckysminion)!
Hearing Peter side of the story you can really tell how passionate and invested he was on that EG roster. Sounds like he really got along with everyone and he really cared especially for those younger guys Jojo and Danny. Him even resigning and not wanting anything to do with EG after the Danny situation just show what kind of character Peter really is. It’s a shame that it came to an end because that roster was so lovable .
Peter talks about his young players like a father talks about his kids. It’s equally heartwarming and heartbreaking listening to him tell the stories of these teams and how sometimes the politics of esports just got in the way of the beautiful sport. Probably has been my favorite reflections so far.
Jesus Christ, such amazing content this is. You can hear Peter's sincerity in every story he tells of his players. The first time he appeared on camera with his childlike enthusiasm, I wished esports had more people like him. Other than that, just two legends talking in this interview.
This is one of my favorite reflections so far, fascinating and great insides. Peter Dun really is awesome guest, just for remembering all the details. Can't wait for the 4th part!
I didn't even follow LCS, but still heard of how well EG was doing and it's a real bummer that the team had those issues towards the end. It's nice that that blue print at least ended up and succeeded in NRG for it to be recognized and respected. Hopefully with impact on the future.
There’s a great episode of bevies with the boys that has Peter Dun and Grabbz if you like listening to Peter. They’re all drinking n it goes for 4 hours plus. If you enjoyed these reflection episodes as much as I did, highly recommend that.
Fuck dude... hearing about 5fire and how he keeps getting fucked by situations beyond his control is so heartbreaking... for those who dont know 5fire was a player in the same crop as APA and really well known in the amateur circuit for a while...
Jiizuke 100%. Especially with the following information about the "games were decided by this player's inting or not inting and he inted less with Svenskeren." That's like exactly how Jiizuke performed during his entire tenure in professional LoL.
Its Jiizuke, idk why Thorin did not say anything about it. But Svenskeren literally said to thorin that both him and Jiizuke asked to not play with eachother.
"Deftly is really bad at auto attacking" might be the funniest lines I've heard in a Reflections interview.

The Jojo Danny and LS C9 LCS year was one of the best. So much fun and creativity.
This whole saga is incredible. Thanks for your contribution to the sport… both of you.
This might be the best set of reflections Thorin's ever done. So many fascinating nuggets of information

i'm gonna say "pinned to my back screen" instead of "wallpaper" forever now, Peter Dun a pleasure as always
Thorin's reaction on "... Deftly is really bad at auto attacking" is just the best.
My man Thorin farming Peter. I feel like you could do this with him every couple of years. Homie can talk, and it's all good shit.

5fire was better than APA too
The jojo story's interesting. I feel like I remember people saying Peter had scouted Jojo while Peter was still in EU
as a part of PL community it was definitely Mystiques hyping up jojo
ok guys who do we think wanted sven out? ignar, impact, or jiizuke? seems like ignar's personality
No way it was Impact, cant imagine him showing up to tryouts with 6 weeks of no lol. Doesnt fit stories about him, doesnt fit his work ethic
