Old mate needs to learn how to drive a 9g. Gotta set the throttle down to idle low , and double clutch like a road ranger box. Grinding gears at every change is not normal.. Oh and they do have decent brakes for a tractor, time to adjust things up a bit.

It’s a crash box transmission, no synchromesh. Completely normal for them to grind a tad.
