- Happy Lunar New Year’s Eve everyone! This is a special video to wrap up the Year of the Dragon because tomorrow will be the first day of the Lunar New Year.
Anyways, these elevators are still original, but some parts of the elevators got an upgrade. The fixtures (originally touch sensitive round buttons) are now touchless Everbright. In addition, the voiceover (originally China Electronics Service) is now a Fujitec version of Vander Electronic Technology. Sadly, the “AUVIS” floor indicator is now turned off in all 3 elevators.

The library is nice.
Oh my god, I see the elevator buttons has modrenized! When I took this elevator during the year 2023, That means nearly 2 years ago, The buttons haven't modrenized yet, And I hope I can retake it in this year today or tomorrow, And nice video elevatorman 2005👍👍👍
You done a great job, I hope you can keep quiet in every single elevator filming videos.
Well
I hope you can do no commentary when filming from this video on - talking while filming would attract security guards' attention -> which would highly increase the risk of being questioned.
For the sake of the Hong Kong lift community, please reconsider this practice while filming 🥹
And we are all agree that this is the first golden rule of lift filming in the Hong Kong Lift community. We don't want to get the party ruined. (aka 玩串個party)
Thanks.
When can you do retake of the Citygate 1 Elevator because RIP the Dewhurst Voice
When I go to Tung Chung.
Can you add subtitles when doing voice muted videos
On Video
I will try.
Back then there were a wide variety of buttons, indicators and voiceovers in HK. Now it's just generic so all the elevators look all the same and have all lost their uniqueness in terms of fixtures. What's with HK's obsession with generic fixtures nowadays? A new requirement?
Everbright.
Maintenance cost. Generic fixtures everywhere, in which that will be very cheap for part cost.
However I do believe that lift manufacturers may require extra fee to pay when designing the layout for installing generic fixtures.
