Timothy Smith They definitely did. You must not know a lot about NSU. They dominated the MEAC in the early 2000s. They had there numbers reduced tremendously after the 2010 season.
Dayvon Savage Like he said they never left. Numbers never meant anything to the Legion. The quality never left. And I'm a Legion alum who marched with a 96 piece band and 150 piece band. But get what you're saying though.

After listening again and with more focus, while NSU was absolutely amazing, I am rather impressed by ASU. That second song was glass and it was strong, full, and clear. I see a way better band than last year.

Why is a band half the size keeping close with the volume and with a much better sound quality. They get W on that alone. I wouldn't say ASU was blown out though, because they have a little more power
NSU would sound more powerful if the Euphs were playing as one whole section. they are playing as a section but not at the same intensity. its all in the arrangement.
Why y’all keep telling yourselves that lie? They are not half ASU size and they didn’t have a much better sound quality, they have a difference sound and style of play. However ASU had a powerful and projected sound for their size played w/ clarity. Bama State was not that large at all this year themselves. These bands are about the same size. Y’all are so delusional lol
I was there in person and the volume nsu produced had me shook. I was not expecting so much sound from them. Asu wasn't much bigger than NSU. This battle was good. I would give NSU the 1st round and ASU the 2nd.

NSU took this all the way 🙌 I get tired of hearing bands play to mf loud and out of tone the mf Melos and trumpets and the rest of the instruments trying to blow over each other NSU gots this hands down they sound just right and they making the city look good to 😎🤘

Norfolk was amazing, but I'm givin it to ASU simply by their diverse song selection. All Norfolk played was hype songs. There was different feelings of music on ASU's side and that ultimately beat Norfolk. No disrespect to Norfolk, they sound absolutely amazing (especially those trumpets 🎺😭) but ASU had a more diverse song selection
NSU played the same Type of Songs ASU played, R&B/pop (Wild Thoughts= I Cant Wait) & Rap (Congratulations=Be Scared) . the only Difference is that NSU played a Original Composition (Be Scared)
