Very underrated era in retrospect. Pumped out about four of their maybe top 20 (?) best songs between Big Thing and Liberty. Liked the aesthetic that Sterling and Warren added
So sad to watch John who barely speaks and gives too short answers. Apparently he doesn't remember almost anything from this era. So sad to watch this and their interview from 1986, 4 years earlier, where he was super talkative and looked happy and amazingly enthusiastic. I'm so glad he finally chose the right way 4 years after this!
By 1990 the band had really no confidence in themselves and the music they were making... John was in a constant drugged state by his own admission and couldn't remember anything about the Liberty experience. You can see in how hard it is for them to answer simple questions how lost they were during this period

i agree! Nick is SO sexy! i've loved Nick since 1982 :) oh yeah and the rest of Duran Duran too LOL, but Nick has always been #1 with me!!!

it was recorded on 16 of October 1990 in Tunel club for the Christmas tv show of channel 2. They stayed in Athens/Greece for 4 days.
