"James bond is not a real spy". Snake wearing a science outfit with a crocodile hat.
Para-medic: "you can't get him worked up about 007, I have to deal with it later!" when, really, she was the one who touched the subject
and even then, he’s still more of a spy than bond
"What's wrong with looking cute?"
Man I love those codecs about movies
Don’t forget the Chicken Hat in V

@fml I mean, those have too much of movie and very little of videogame, very badly done...
basically the entire video
para medic: snake have you ever seen...
snake: nope
Or read the books.
para medic: so basically this happened and that happened
Or possibly Snake and James Bond exist in the Metal Gear universe and have met each other, proving that he doesn't like Bond movies because it's nothing like the spy he met.
wait snaks in plan was made in 2006 the game is set in 1960s how the hell is she getting all this movies
After the first codec established that Snake NEVER watches films
*Saves game after being mercilessly beaten by Volgin*
Paramedic’s response: “Snake have you ever heard of the movie For a Fistful of (ONE HUNDRED BILLION) Dollars”
Hahahahahahaha!!!
Exquisite
@Geralt of Trivia fun fact ocelot is based on Lee Van Cleef who played in For A Few Dollars More And The Good The Bad And The Ugly
Now that's good 😆

Paramedic made Frank Jaeger a cyborg ninja because she liked movies
I always imagined her yapping away about movies while experimenting on him. And when he finally took his revenge - "I have seen one movie. Frankenstein. Are you familiar with it, doctor Clark?" *Sword-related things happen.*
"Hey Frank have you seen star wars?"
Fox: Yes. All three. No, wait. In Zanzibar, back in '99. I heard rumors of a prequel film. I didn't have a chance to see it before my battle with Snake.
Para-Medic: ... you're just remembering it wrong, Mister Hunter.
Sigint (codec): Smart. If he found out about that one, who knows how he might react. Could go into a psychotic rage.
Zero (distant): 1999? The World is Not Enough came out that year! I love that one! Donald, what's our progress on X-Ray glasses?
starschwar
Frank: HURT ME MORE SNAKE!
Zero (watching security footage): Alright, who told him about Jar-Jar?
I was so bummed when I found out she was killed.
Paramedic wants to VHS and chill.
With a Japanese guy of course
Betamax and Chill haha
If we aint watching the blob then no deal howie
Watch a form of Media and perform various acts of unprotected intercourse
Why am I picturing this.
I bet Snake genuinely wanted to say “This isn’t interesting” during all of these conversations

Dammit you stole my comment 2 hours before I thought of it.
Whats the joke
@@Aaron-mv1kd The long as fuck cutscenes.
Metal Gear Solid 4 has the world record for the longest cutscene and the longest sequence of cut scenes, the only reason it takes me so long to play 4 is because I love watching the cutscenes, if it weren't for them I could beat the whole game in just a couple hours.
There’s a reason why mgs4 is my second favorite after mgs3.
“And someday they’ll make movies where you can control characters too!”

Para- Medic: And someday they'll make a game based on what's going on now. From a company that I'm sure will have a bright future.
Is Para-Medic Kojima's movie personification?
Cause he did say that his life is 70% movies.

Para-medic and Snake are a perfect pair
What about a snake shaped gun?
Gun?
Who requested this?
WHOOOOOOO?
I love that snake dismisses the idea of being a ladies man like Bond but hits on her on their next talk.
Don't forget he was hitting on her when she mentioned seeing him in the hospital.
Yeah legit every Woman wants his Snake 😏😏😏
Almost a half hour of Snake and Para-medic just talking about movies. This is just one of the things mgsv was missing. No codec conversations, just plot dumping cassette tapes :(
Maxim Basuda They did have the hamburgers of kazuhira miller, but that was only like 4 tapes. A shame.
Alen Nezirevic I forgot about that, don't know why. It was a moment of weakness.
Sutherland didn't have nearly enough lines, I liked him as Big Boss and when I first found out about it I got my hopes up that they were going to remake Metal Gear One and Two in a modern game engine and have Solid Snake voiced by Hayter and Big Boss/Venom Snake voiced by Sutherland. But Konami shit all over my dreams in the form of Survive.
@@AN-xi1vk hamburger confession was pretty good
There's a reason why everyone's favourite casettes from that game are The Burgers of Kazuhira Miller.
Paramedic in nutshell: *inhales* I LOVE JAPAN!
WEEABOOS
Weeaboos, a weapon that surpass metal gear!!
Is that why Dr. Clark made Grey Fox into a cyborg ninja?
I love how Snake casually mentions the movie ‘The Big Broadcast’ and Para-Medic doesn’t even notice.
Soo... she basically predicted Solid and Liquid at 20:34
Giovanni Serra What's even better, she was the one behind the clone project.
Deoxir Blunderbuss yeah, hahahaha
She liked the movie so much she wanted to recreate it.
What's even darker, she's the one who made them by Les Enfants Terribles.

So MGS3 has almost half an hour of just Paramedic talking about movies?
This is the greatest game ever
She's seems like the type to browse on /tv/
Captain Fordo Snake, have you seen "The Phantom Menace?" It's a prequel to the original Star Wars movies. George Lucas has said that it's like poetry because parts of his stories repeat. Isn't that interesting?
pikistikman Hmm..... I should watch that sometime. Don't you think this George Lucas will make a trilogy of these and maybe a TV show about it?
Snake, have I ever told you about Asoka Tano...?
@@gearsolidsnake8668 and she was a good friend
This actually was my favorite part of the game. I was like 12 when I played this game back in 2006 and I learned so much from her lol. Watched all these movies now
Is it just me, but if you close your eyes listening to these two, don't they sound like one of those horribly mismatched couples kicking about that you meet sometimes?
Such as: Para-medic could be this mousey little city girl, excitable, urbane and full of passionate opinions and experiences. She has this peppy moxie about her.
Snake, on the other hand, is the gruff and stoic farmhand, mopey and simple in his desires. He lives a hard life, and has this whetted focus and introspection about life, which he grinds to a point in silence and solitude.
You read all that on paper, and there's no way these two would end up together, and yet...
I think they had the same kind of chemistry my grandpa and grandma had when they were alive. The kind of chemistry that can't be explained by science.

You have 6 armies behind you shooting, you reach an important part of the plot, you save so that it doesn't kill you.

God, Snake and the Major were such good friends during this. If only one of them had actually talked to each other after the fact.

you forgot one when Paramedic talks about that air mask Snake wear during the parachute jump it reminded her of the movie The Fly and the one when you wear the zombie face camo and call Sigint about it and Paramedic demonstrates what a zombie is and starts naming some zombie movies and the one when Snake calls Paramedic about Major Zero's codename Tom from the movie The Great Escape but Paramedic wasn’t interested in that film and she names other movies she likes.
This line always cracks me up. 😂

MGS3 came out in 2004, when Godzilla: Final Wars was going to come out for Godzilla's 50th Anniversary. And they predicted that the original version of Gojira 1954 would finally get released in North America.
Unfortunately, Final Wars would be Godzilla's last film until 2014 and Shin Godzilla.
They did talk about videotapes and video games coming out in the future, but since they were talking about a 3D film, they forgot to predict the 3D TV and Blu-ray 3D fad. But VR was already present in the previous games which take place later.
>Para-Medic calls Godzilla 1954 mostly mindless fun
>the very same movie which has an opening very similar to the Lucky Dragon No. 5 incident, and Godzilla’s rampage on Tokyo being eerily evocative of the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki
>also, bleak scenes with survivors in hospitals, including a child crying that her mother died, and another child getting cancer
>and a scene before that which shows the child who lost her mother being held by her mother along with her sibling telling her that they’ll be with their father soon (who is implied to have died in World War II)
>Dr. Serizawa then burns all notes on his secret weapon and decides to take himself with Godzilla so said secret weapon will not be abused by the military or the government
I get calling the later ones “mindless fun” but Godzilla 1954 is one of, if not the most depressing kaiju film of all time. And is more like Grave of the Fireflies with a giant monster instead of a campy blockbuster.
Considering Para-medic created the cyborg ninja, It isn't surprising.
...I'd really like to just save the game now Para-Medic
I did some extra digging one day and one of the movies she talks about is a porno.
