Hi everyone! Posting my showreel in case it helps anyone who is thinking about applying.
Originally, my video had exactly 2min, but there were some NDA projects that I couldn't post publicly on youtube.

Congratulations!! I am going to apply this year and am a bit stuck. What level of 3d animation is required and what exactly to put in the motivational letter and video?

@@mauli3051 thank you! honestly, some ppl didn’t even have 3D but i feel it’s best to have some. i literally watched a tutorial and did a walk cycle super quick, just so i would have something haha
but they know everyone who applies is more of a 2D person, so don’t worry too much. the letter and motivational video i think they specify it more on their website, but it’s mostly standard stuff about who you are/what you’ve done/why you wanna go to the school. make it personal and light!

Heyy I’m currently studying graphic design and want to try gobelins master application when i finish uni.Should I be graduated from animation or graphic design is ok too?

@@mintypuppycorn1115 hmm good question. I know it’s either bachelor’s degree in animation or related area or 3 years working in the industry, but you should send them an email! they usually reply pretty fast.
personally, i got my bachelor’s in visual arts but i also worked in storyboarding for 3 years, so i’m not sure if just my degree would have been enough
