I installed a tall windscreen on my Vespa GTV. I hate looking through the plexiglass, so I put blue painters tape horizontally and roughly 1 cm below my eye level and did a several test drives, then when I got the height correct I used a jigsaw to cut the top of the tall windscreen (matching the curves) down so that I now look OVER the windscreen instead of through it. I only install the windscreen during the cold winter rains. When driving, the rain flows OVER my helmet so that my helmet stays dry. Of course if I stop then I get wet.
