The Privy Council only quashed the sentencing the charges remain. They are still charged for murder. The fact that the Privy Council did not set them free says a lot.

As a Jamaican i don't have any respect for the court systems and the police department i went to some of the court to listen some of the cases and i am telling you the judges are careless reckless out of control and disrespectful and did not follow the truth of the law, Corruption and lawless.

You're right that the law system is broken. A defendant shouldn't be allowed to try and bribe the jury and then get his case thrown out based on that same bribery. It's a win-win situation for criminals.

In fact, they tried everything to keep Vybz Kartel in prision but in the end you have to make a decision. When it come to justice system of Jamaica. The criminal been let out back. On the victim's on they families been let down. There can't be any justice not until it becomes justice for all. True justice had no bias no favourism because justice is justice. But only when it have been done in right way. Not for some people. Favourism justice its not justice are what justice should all about are meant Jamaica justice system are just likes a political system designed to fail
July 31- to me the Judge" might be giving the prosecution team moretime to put a trial case together, for them to find grounds to do re-trial because Its obvious that they can't find 3 credible witness. My gut intuition is that the prosecution will get the re-trial grant and Kartel will get bail because of medical reasons.

lizard is dead and the defendants were found guilty of killing him, however, because a juror attempted to bribe the foreperson, a breach for which he was removed from the jury, charged, found guilty and sentenced accordingly. Also, of the 12 jurors, another was removed for other reasons, leaving 10 of the 12. It is my comprehension that a trial could proceed with at least 10 jurors, if one or two can't serve for whatever reason. I say that to say this, was the defense made aware of the attempted bribe? If so, did they file any motion to otherwise not proceed with the trial in lieu of the bribery attempt? or did they agree to move forward given the circumstances? I'm just trying to mek sense of it all!
