देश में आतंकवादियों की कमर तोड़ने के लिए गुरुवार को राष्ट्रीय जांच एजेंसी (#NIA) और प्रवर्तन निदेशालय (#ED) ने तमिलनाडु और केरल (Kerala) समेत कुल 11 राज्यों में पॉपुलर फ्रेंट ऑफ इंडिया (#PFI) के ठिकानों पर छामेमारी की. इस छापेमारी में 106 लोगों को गिरफ्तार किया गया है. बता दें कि पीएफआई और उससे जुड़े लोगों की ट्रेनिंग गतिविधियों, टेरर फंडिंग और लोगों को संगठन से जोड़ने के खिलाफ ये एनआईए की अबतक की सबसे बड़ी कार्रवाई है.
गिरफ्तारी दो तरीके के लोगों के खिलाफ की गई है. एक तो वह जो सीधे तौर पर पीएफआई की गतिविधियों में शामिल थे और दूसरा वह जो छापेमारी यह सर्च के दौरान धरना प्रदर्शन कर रहे थे. पीएफआई के ऊपर कार्रवाई के मामले में ज्यादातर गिरफ्तार लोग इस संगठन के पदाधिकारी हैं.
