He incredable! My Trumpet MADE me go to a concert in Harrisburg. He just got ooff the boat and wasn't known, yet. Every note had a full powerful tone, even in the altissimo register. He was clearly unhappy with the locals he was playing with. While they were on break he sat down on the piano and started playing, with the same skill level with witch he plays trumpet. he has serious piano chops. I was deep in awe of his piano playing when his picked up his trumpet anf played it with his right hand while playing piano with his left. I think he wanted to show he didn't need the band. He was very personable and friendly guy. It was a pleasure to meet him.
A plunger (literally a plunger, without the stick in it). It makes it possible to get a different tone and sound from the trumpet, and gives you the option to be more expressive and do some cool effects (like for example making the "wah wah" sound). Back in the day a lot of trumpeters and bands used hats instead (i.e. a hat mute).
