I always loved this watch. Mechanical watches will outlive their owner. Quartz will last 20-30 years. I think the Cartier santos vintage watches are mechanical...
1. This aint a watch! It has a battery and quartz! It's a 5euro watch inside. Can't believe ppl are paying 8k for this! Get a real watch like rolex! 2. you can't wear your gold watch with those bracelets, it will scratch your watch as crazy! If you dont mind go ahead :). Imo cartier is way overpriced in watches.
Why make a video of a fake watch? Mine doesn't have the date nor the seconds handle & yours doesn't say cartier at 10 o'clock This makes me question your credibility
Excellent question Dana! Why would I even bother risking my reputation by reviewing fake items as real ones?! I don't. It's that easy. You are probably aware that Cartier and most other companies update their products over time for a variety of reasons, right? If you take a look at the current Panthère lineup, you see that Cartier eliminated the date and seconds complication. However, previous iterations had these features and they could be used to differentiate the models from one another. Just go to the Cartier homepage and take a look at the Santhos for men. You'll see that the large model has a date at 6 o'clock, while the medium model has no date. On top of that, Cartier also moved the position of the date window over the years. A quick picture search for pre-loved models will show you what I described. In case you still doubt the authenticity of this timepiece, you might simply ask your Cartier SA to run the serial number shown in the video. Hope this helps to clarify this misconception.
The panthere model watches have had a few updates since the original launch. The current collection that's launched a few years ago got rid of the date window. The one reviewed in the video is the medium model. There are links shared in the description for similar models.

The current models at the boutique does not come with a second hand or date window. Yours must be from the 90s.
