WooHoo...Happy Dance 💃!!! Congratulations on 2nd and 3rd place ballroom dancing Teresa and you made Amazing progress on Evening In The Park....you are getting so very close to a finish!! I'm cheering you on from Texas...Go Teresa Go 🎉🎉!! Much Love, JoDee 🥰
A progress is a process.. slowly but surely… you will get there…. Evening in the park is a book on itself so it needs time and love… congratulations on your dance 💃 🎉🍾🥂
Hello Teresa congratulations on your dancing achievements you really are incredible 💐 always love seeing your stitching which is beautiful, pleased to hear mum is well, and I do hope Bon Bon and honey are well. Hope to see you back soon.
Congratulations on the dancing Teresa. I remember at the 2023 chatelaine retreat when you’d had hip replacements you said “please tell me it gets better than this” well yes it did! so very well done x
You look so beautiful in your competition gowns. Congratulations on receiving the trophies. Your progress on you Chatelaine is so awesome. It is so pretty. I can't wait to see it finished. Happy stitching!🙂
Congratulations on your competitions! I hope you can share videos next year. You are a brave and beautiful woman with many talents and I appreciate you sharing them with us. You are a true inspiration ❣️
Hello Teresa! I'm back at cross stitching after 15 years away and so much has changed. I haven't tried parking yet but the new way you've been stitching is the way I've always stitched. It's always been fast for me. It helps me to stay focused on the one color/symbol on the chart. And you'll start to see the pattern pop out to keep your place. I've really enjoyed your videos. Thank you!
What a great video, love seeing your progress of beautiful designs! Congratulations on your dance competitions; looks like so much fun and you looked so beautiful! Happy stitching and dancing !
I no longer park but instead finish the thread where ever it goes. I can stitch so much faster and it's so clear where I am especially if I have 5 colors that are just a shade apart! Congrats on your competition! Your costumes are gorgeous!
Love y7projects. And I've loved watching your videos. I personally think when you finish Evening in the Park, you should really treat yourself to something really awesome. It could be anything that you'd want for you. Even if uts a massage. Lol. Celebrate that finish by treating yourself to something awesome!!! 😊
Evening in the Park is getting there. Santa came out again - I've missed him. Congratulations on the dancing - so much hard work and you got the reward for it!
Thank you so much for another great video! Thursdays are my Sunday each week, and I’ve had the best morning thanks to you, stitching along, drinking my coffee, watching your video, on a cold, rainy, windy day here in St.John’s, Newfoundland, Canada. It’s the little things.😊 All of your projects are so lovely. You make it so tempting to start a chatelaine-I absolutely love the Evening in the Park the best out of any I’ve seen.xx And congratulations on your dancing competition-that’s so fantastic, and huge hats off to you for handling all the hurdles that got thrown your way and still performing so brilliantly!!! I’m turning 50 next year, and you’re such an inspiration!!! (Apologies for such a long post, but your video really spoke to me on so many levels today, so for what it’s worth to share…😊)
The Evening in the Park will be great joy on your wall but don’t rush it. Our stitching should only give us joy! That being said there is always a little bit of anxiety when I can see the finish coming on a bigger project. (None any where near that size lol).
Yes, your wonderful Chatalaine is very close to a finish, looking forward to seeing this completed. Please do not pressure yourself over this. One stitch at a time. This is what my Mother and Grandmother would say to me when they were teaching me. 😊
Teresa, you are such an enabler ❤. Because of your beautiful evening in the park- I bought everything for it- even the abyss material. Now you are showing yours so close to a finish and I’m getting really jealous- I just have the center done. I love how beautiful yours looks, I’ve got to find the time! Thank you for the video
Oh that was my Book of Potions on the ENR table! I’m kinda pleased you fell down that rabbit hole… Happy to talk you through the FFO stuff in March. Only took 3 evenings to do…
Teresa I so enjoy seeing your videos. Evening in the Park is so beautiful! Congratulations on your Blackpool trophies. It is so wonderful that you are keeping up with your dancing. You looked beautiful and I so loved seeing the video clip. It brought back so many memories seeing the ballroom. You were not even a twinkle in your parent's eyes when I went to Blackpool! Looking forward to seeing you again soon.
Evening in the park is my absolute favorite piece of all...its just so very beautiful. I could look at it for ages. Can't wait to see it finished but....also a bit of a sad feeling that we won't see it being showed on your video's anymore.😑 Big hugs from Holland
Congratulations on winning the trophies, you have to be proud of yourself after taking so much time away and coping with your hip and other health issues.
Hi Teresa, congratulations on winning your trophies you looked beautiful. Evening in the Park is coming along beautifully and we all know it will be finished in 2025 your stitching is great and I am so tempted to start a Santa. I look forward to seeing you again soon.
Teresa, always enjoy your stitching. The potions book looks like an awesome yet intimidating finishing project. I'm extremely impressed with your dancing! I too had a hip replacement surgery( and very arthritic knees). I do a lot of walking, and yet you're out ballroom dancing and winning trophies! Impressive! 🎉❤
Hello Teresa - it's such a delight to watch your FlossTube! Your Evening in the Park is SO BEAUTIFUL!!! Your white stitching looks so perfect! White is so hard...I have used floche also, depending on the project. Congratulations on your placements in the dance competition! Your dresses were gorgeous!!!
Evening in the Park stitching is definitely do-able! Once that is completed, the beads are next year's priority. Congratulations on your dance results. I bet after your operations you felt you would never achieve such results again.
I enjoyed this video, Teresa. Your “Evening in the Park” is beautiful. You’re so close, I hope to see you finish it. Thank you for sharing the dance photos and congratulations on the trophies. You should be proud of all your accomplishments.
You are killing it in your stitching. I believe you will finish Evening in the Park. You are so close. You looked beautiful in your dance outfits and Congratulations on your tropheys. Can't wait till your next video!
17:46 looks like the middle yellow is going to the end of the top black all the others look like it stops one stitch on either side, the bottom row of the top black part that is touching the yellow on all the others is 7 except that one its six, if thats the problem ill freak, i can never see whats wrong with my own projects when they are in front of my face 😂😂
I work in this manner too! no Parking, finish the thread. and use the stitched part as 'markers' , I don;t go more than 2 squares away though. i'm only on my middle section of Poison Garden....go for a finish in '25!!!!
Teresa, I absolutely love all your stitching especially your chatelaine. You can finish it by end of year. Congratulations on your dancing wins. Love watching dancing competitions. Till next time keep stitching! ❤
Hi Teresa. Lovely stitching, as always. Would love to see a Stitch-with-me with Evening in the Park. She's gorgeous! I know you'll at least get her stitching done by the end of December. Congratulations on your dancing trophies! Don't be so hard on yourself. I'd say you did fantastic for just getting back into dancing after having been off for so long. Clearly you are a fabulous dancer!
Massive congratulations on your success on the dance floor 🎉. You’re so close to a stitching finish for evening in park! It is looking amazing, would love to see some stitch with mes ❤
Lovely video. The way you are doing your deer stocking is the way I do mine. I feel there is a little more completion, not as much re- threading needle. All your WIPS are beautiful. I too just took our 3 WIPS that have not seen light of day in a while. One I started in 2003! Evening in the park is gorgeous!! On the lantern, I think the error is where the black meets yellow - one side is a stitch off - taking a quick look. . Keep stitching.
That evening in the Park is gorgeous ! 😍 Serious congrats on your trophies I'm 52 and awaiting a hip replacement so I know how debilitating in can be, and there's you swanning around the ballroom ❤ 🎉
are you missing some snowflakes from the top right corner of Evening in the Park under the Lanterns ? It's so beautiful i would never stop looking at it,
Thank you for the video. I love dancing, especially the Spanish it to bad I am old. Amy loves toads has done the book you have bought, so check her videos. I love and of your work. Thank you for sharing your dancing 😊
Woooohooo!!!🎉🎉🎉 congratulations 🥂 on getting placed in your 💃🏻 comp! That’s awesome! 🙌🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 I’d complain to Premier Inn HQ about that noise keeping you awake, and at the poor response from the management there. You may at least get a refund or a voucher. We certainly won’t be using them after what you’ve said (if we ever find ourselves in Blackpool again😅) Love your little finishes, well done on the WIPS, and you’ve got this with EITP! You can get it done by end of year! Didn’t I also see you had the Sleeping Beauty Chatelaine too? Also, aren’t the designs by Living on the Rainbow just awesome? The Coven girls and I are doing the Vampire Camper as a SAL at the moment, and I’ve got Mrs Claus’s Cookbook to start (t’is a SAL also! Yikes!) once my embellishment kit pack comes in. So many things to stitch, so little time….
The method you are doing on the stocking is the one I prefer. Very occasionally I make a mistake on an ungridded fabric, that I have to frog. Otherwise - great. I see the picture, but no 100s of threads. Only a couple as I sometimes park.if the thread goes too far or I am too close to the qsnap
Your nails are beautiful! Wish I had a good nail shop. Congrats on your EITP!!! I so enjoy your vids and I love the way you Brits use the language, so clever. Love listening you to guys from across the pond. Thanks for sharing the dance & congrats on the trophies. Do you have a regular dance partner or do they assign you one when you arrive at the competition?
I changed my material for deer creek stocking and gridded a big count. I still haven't finished grinding the new piece, and I need to catch up . I change to the same piece of material that Teresa changed to.
Evening in the park is looking fantastic. My favorite pair of scissors is a pair of fiskars which are about 5.5” long. The point is not stabbing sharp, but it does get into tight areas quite nicely, and the handles are just the perfect feel for me. Evening in the Park is looking lovely. I have mine kitted up but a little apprehensive about starting, lol. I also did ballroom dancing competitions for about 8 years. However, arthritis put a stop to that about 7 or 8 years ago. I really miss it. Good luck with your future dancing and on completing Evening in the Park. ❤😊
Hello Teresa! Your EITP is looking amazing! Finishing the stitching portion is definitely doable by year’s end, I think. It has turned into be a showstopper work of needleart ❤. Congratulations on your dance finishes, that is so impressive after having your hip replacement. If I remember correctly, didn’t you have shoulder surgery too, some years back? You’re very inspirational to people in that regard! The potion book is cute, there’s also another little stitchy book of mushrooms. Idk if you subscribe to Amy Loves Toads, but you may want to peek at her channel, as she has FFO’d the Potion book, and has just FO’d the Fungi/ Mushroom book.
I think Welcome to the North Pole could also be considered a sampler. It has several different scenes that are completed as you work down. I don’t know if I’m making sense but I think the way it’s designed makes it a sampler
Bobo... Dear Teresa, I think your bobo is in the black in the lamp post. The top isn't in line with the post it self, if that makes any sence? Congratulations with the dance competition. 🎉🎉🎉
That chatelaine is so amazing! The first lamp post on the new corner … did you finish all the yellow stitches? It might be my eyes but it looked like some didn’t have the second \ on them. Sorry to question but I’d hate it if you missed it. Probably just the camera angle.
Congratulations on your trophies, that’s exciting! Your hotel experience sounds awful. We had a stay at a motel on across country trip, next door to a woman that yelled cuss words and talked to herself all night long. Finally in the early morning hours I knocked on our shared wall and asked her to please go to bed, she was scaring my kids (which she did)
I know stitching without parking sounds scary but its no different then when you stitch fancy ladies and chatelaines you dont park then or follow a grid so just treat it like your doing one of them 😊

I do a bit of parking and a bit of stitching out the thread, it works for me and I always use gridded fabric. X Glad your dancing went well.

Congratulations on your trophies!

I too had a hip replacement surgery( and very arthritic knees). I do a lot of walking, and yet you're out ballroom dancing and winning trophies! Impressive! 🎉❤
Fantastic to hear how well you did in the competition. Too busy definitely sounds better than bored with life🎉
Teresa, you missed the snow in the top right corner. Also there is beading in the snow areas, and on the lanterns.
Love my Premax scissors. Been using them for a few years now, great brand.

Wow evening in the park is stunning 😍 huge congratulations on your dance competition you did amazing!! Well done! 😁
Great video! Winter in the park looks amazing!!!! Congratulations on your dancing competition, your results are impressive!
I work in this manner too! no Parking, finish the thread. and use the stitched part as 'markers' , I don;t go more than 2 squares away though.
i'm only on my middle section of Poison Garden....go for a finish in '25!!!!

Congrats on the finishes and the trophies! Thanks for sharing the video and pictures from your dance competition.
Your swan piece is amazing! You’re so talented.😊
Hi Teresa. Lovely stitching, as always. Would love to see a Stitch-with-me with Evening in the Park. She's gorgeous! I know you'll at least get her stitching done by the end of December. You are so amazingly talented! Congratulations on your dancing accomplishments!!
That evening in the Park is gorgeous ! 😍
Serious congrats on your trophies I'm 52 and awaiting a hip replacement so I know how debilitating in can be, and there's you swanning around the ballroom ❤ 🎉
are you missing some snowflakes from the top right corner of Evening in the Park under the Lanterns ? It's so beautiful i would never stop looking at it,
First time I’ve seen you dance. You’re amazing and so beautiful. I know nothing of dancing but you looked wonderful.
Thank you for the video. I love dancing, especially the Spanish it to bad I am old. Amy loves toads has done the book you have bought, so check her videos. I love and of your work. Thank you for sharing your dancing 😊
Congrats on all your hard work in both stitching and dancing!!⚾️
Hi, well done, happy stitching xx
Woooohooo!!!🎉🎉🎉 congratulations 🥂 on getting placed in your 💃🏻 comp! That’s awesome! 🙌🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
I’d complain to Premier Inn HQ about that noise keeping you awake, and at the poor response from the management there. You may at least get a refund or a voucher. We certainly won’t be using them after what you’ve said (if we ever find ourselves in Blackpool again😅)
Love your little finishes, well done on the WIPS, and you’ve got this with EITP!
Always lovely to catch up! Congratulations on your 2nd and 3rd place!
Hoping to stitch with you soon!
Teresa, love the video and congratulations on the Chatelaine xx I’m sure the Welcome to the North Pole is classed as a sampler xx
Evening in the park is looking fantastic.
My favorite pair of scissors is a pair of fiskars which are about 5.5” long. The point is not stabbing sharp, but it does get into tight areas quite nicely, and the handles are just the perfect feel for me. My first pair was when they were manufactured by durasharp 25+ years ago, I found them by fiskars in 2017 or so and acquired 5 or 6 pairs in different colors because I love them so much. Unfortunately they seem to have stopped manufacturing them again so I really need to consider branching out and trying new scissors again. But do I *really* need 10+ pairs of scissors…where’s the line between just enough and hoarding type behavior? I’m not a minimalist, but I do get stressed with too much stuff. (Of course there’s 2-3 pairs of scissors I could donate and replace with better ones…)
Oh my goodness…loud thumping bass at night is the absolute pits. I’ve got a neighbor with an outdoor stereo and perhaps I’m too nice and I don’t noise complaint them enough…but I shouldn’t have to go to the opposite end of my home and take anti nausea pills (because I can feel the bass thumping!) to attempt to sleep with that thumping going on. But I also don’t want to be *that* neighbor who calls the police for every little thing.
Congratulations on getting trophies despite feeling unprepared. Do you bring your own dance partner or do you get a random partner?
Evening in the Park is looking lovely. I have mine kitted up but a little apprehensive about starting, lol. I also did ballroom dancing competitions for about 8 years. However, arthritis put a stop to that about 7 or 8 years ago. I really miss it. Good luck with your future dancing and on completing Evening in the Park. ❤😊
I’m working on winter white Santa also, but I started at the bottom, I’m up to the top of the tree, so half way through.
👏👏👏
Amazing stuff. Well done, strangely my old dance teacher were also competing at blackpool
Hi Teresa the little potions book was made by Anna T from ENR she will be there in March , so will be able to give you some tips.
❤❤❤
I am having trouble doing the parking thread. I am almost finished with my sons dog, Cheetoes. He was 100 years old people
Congratulations on your trophies, that’s exciting!
Your hotel experience sounds awful. We had a stay at a motel on across country trip, next door to a woman that yelled cuss words and talked to herself all night long. Finally in the early morning hours I knocked on our shared wall and asked her to please go to bed, she was scaring my kids (which she did)
I'm sorry if I'm wrong but top corner of the chatellainne appears to have missing confetti snow? I'm not sure though, hi from Edinburgh
Don’t frog the lantern! I’m pretty sure you just have a missing stitch to add in, not wrong stitches to take out. Check, but check BEFORE YOU FROG!!
I know stitching without parking sounds scary but its no different then when you stitch fancy ladies and chatelaines you dont park then or follow a grid so just treat it like your doing one of them 😊
