মালয়েশিয়ায় অবৈধ অভিবাসীদের ধরতে সাড়াশি অভিযান চালিয়ে বাংলাদেশিসহ অন্তত ১ হাজার ৭শ জনকে আটক করা হয়েছে। তাদেরকে সেলাঙ্গর ইমিগ্রেশন ডিপার্টমেন্ট এনফোর্সমেন্ট ডিভিশনে নেয়া হয়েছে। আটককৃতদের মধ্যে বাংলাদেশি ছাড়াও পাকিস্তান, মিয়ানমার ও ইন্দোনেশিয়ার নাগরিক রয়েছেন।
At least 1,700 people, including Bangladeshis, have been arrested in a massive operation to catch illegal immigrants in Malaysia. They have been taken to Selangor Immigration Department Enforcement Division. Apart from Bangladeshis, there are citizens of Pakistan, Myanmar and Indonesia among those detained.
