Yes, this is a painful reminder of what we and Israel have done with God. If any of you have ever walked and lived with a woman who was or is like Hosea's wife, it can feel like forever anguish like the circumstance of Ichabod. One does learn much patience, much mercy, much forgiveness. Now that being said, we become like the company we keep, so if there is no repentance, this can also be a futile journey. For that God is merciful in permitting separation and divorce from those who continue defiance, rebellion, and refuse to learn of the holiness, grace, mercy, and love of God. God does not call many to live thru and experience Hosea's woes, but some He allows to learn deep anguish so we can relish deep forgiveness. Good and hard word Pastor David.
In accordance with hosea 3:1, 2 corinthians 6:14-18 I bind to hell to choose a difficult kind of love that is marked by adultery, loosening myself of every unequal yoke and common share with those choosing a love marked by adultery, in the name and blood of Jesus Christ, amen and hallelujah!
