Bloodlust is one of the most impressively animated movies I've seen. Th 80s anime was very stylish and beautiful but the 2000s OVA is on another level entirely.
I'm really feeling nostalgic because I watched this movie at a movie theater when I was a junior high school student.I was so impressed with this "Your Song" and amazing story though I didn't know this singer and author at all.This movie must have been frontier at this era.I'm happy to watch this movie with TH-cam!Thanks for your uploading!

Now 2d animation is less surprising compared to film vfx and 3d that improve very fast and represent the future. That's why now anime hasn't the same public as before, and it's nowdays mostly seen by students or nerds, a public with few interest for society, so It means less money for Studios to produce and changing the topic of the series to values of that people, out of society, like you said, Moe, Loli sex, kid actitude... 2d animation of Japan has all the topics, but now they are sold by Otaku culture in most productions, because it's more difficult to show interest for adults and mayor public in 2d cartoons, compared to newest technologies and their marketing. In few lines, anime Studios usually get money from Otaku people, so serious and deep histories are less produced, with no interest by the companies.
from the story, i think D is one of the last "dhampir", child of human and vampire, he is also hunting vampires, but if he make human friends, they die from age.

敵ですら一瞬で惚れてしまう天野さんの超絶美形が凄い。「D」と「秋」の対決なんてないよなぁ😁
その時、Dの口元に微笑が浮かぶのを見た。
それは、これから先、その微笑を浮かばせたのが自分だということを思い出して、誇りに思う、そんな微笑だった。
この曲が一番初めに聴いたTMの歌でした英語の歌詞部分の悲しさが沁みました
なんで「Get Wild」より前にこの曲が売れなかったのか疑問だ、
