I kinda agree with you, but I think it's the natural progression of the game, staying with really hard to summon monsters would slow down the game to infinity, but the way things are now I can see why slowing down a little would be great for the game health

I made a stall deck with this as my boss monster. Only game I got it off was against a mill deck. I had 3 cards left, and it reshuffled me back up yo 28.
1:04 instead of curious, you could try and use beatice with a diviner package. Still meshes well with the drytron engine anyway. 1:32 I believe in the duel terminal lore, tierra is behind the infernoids, shaddolls, and lswarms. This is just an amalgamation of all of those, with the qlis in there because infernoids are reprogrammed qliphorts.
Also 1 benten would have made a whole difference too since he could +1 for Senju or another Ritual mob. like Diviner to throw in an ARclight to grave to +1 again.

Fiber Jar is so broken and nonsense, Konami had to print a new card which is a Deity boss monster with totally restricted summoning criteria just to have a legal version of the jar...and unnegatable one
With megalith you can also try block dragon, it's easily searchable with gallant granite and union carrier and it gives a ton of material in the form of its non once per turn summoning condition and its free +3 upon leaving the field.
Usually, The Weather bring Tierra as their "boss", they can easily add spell/trap every turn or special summon other The Weather from deck. And Cloud can easily pick 2 cards from GY.
Drytron looks fun when is not hiding behind the disco ball of negation, is really good ritual support. Still, the ritual spell is extremely broken and some ritual monsters should have been banned before releasing it, or it should have said it only works for machine rituals.
I'm a TCG Drytron player, and I think the deck is really sick, and bc of that, I've sworn to never play any herald version of it (I play megalith mainly)
Yeah, the Ritual Spell has too much power and Herald only sees play because of the recur of Dryton is strong but decent. Buuuut two non-Dryton cards made their recur straight up doubled making Herald see too much play because they can cycle their search far more quicker and have insane draw power. Funny that when you play Pure Dryton its good and decent but when you ran a hybrid Dryton it starts having problems(for the opponent). Meanwhile i try to play non-Dryton Herald with Agents, Eva and Benten and it still is powerful. ...unless you brick of course which Dryton cards can prevent.

@@Paracelsus. You wont really need Benten or Eva if your not using Herald hantraps or use a Ritual Summon to use Benten's search effect that can search any Light Fairy monster. I usually get Hyperion, Parshath Benten while also having Sanctuary and Divine Punishment out with a measly combo. So yeah, playing Pure Agents with Eva and Benten isnt really recommended unless yout using the Herald archtype which can just abuse their draw effects and non-once per turn search effect with Benten into oblivion since the card can be used again and again.

That thing is pretty easy to bring out in Crystal Beast if you have Crystal Tree to assist. It can give you up to 5 cards with different names out of on the field in a single swing.
I'm glad he gave Drytrons a try, he like many others seem to hate this deck because they think it can only do Herald and nothing else It's such a cool deck ruined by one degenerate strategy, and it's not even a meta deck anymore in MD so you can't really complain about it being such a threat (which also answers mr logs' question about why they're allowed to be such advantage generating machines, even with all that they're still not meta)
Totally agree with you. Drytons are really fun, is just Herald in that deck that makes Drytons considered "toxic" from the players. And actually, is not Herald a toxic card, was just the Eva-Fairy (sorry, don't remember the full combo) that makes Herald-Dryton Toxic
@@Ragnarok540 Agreed, I myself played Herald for a while but dropped it because a lot of the times it was just "do super long combo to do what is essentially an ftk" and it got boring quickly (same reason why I don't like Exodia ftk) I'm not shaming Herald users, it's ultimately the strongest version of the deck due to Drytrons having no better going first option, if you're playing competitvely then yeah you'll use it But I don't think it lends to a healthy game in general
named my drytron deck gravmatika megatronekroz since i run odd eyes gravity dragon, the dogmatika ritual monster, megalith engine, and that one really good nekroz card. drytron enables an insane amount of versatility and its a damn shame people use it to pull out 1 ugly ass disco ball
I've been looking at ways to summon tierra recently. I never knew drytrons and megalith could go so positive on card advantage. this was a really unique solution to the problem. I'd love to see you tackle infernoid tierra next
I tested Tierra in a Dark World deck (w/ new support), and you can get her on the field in one turn. As long as there not too many hand traps that stop you or a falling rock then your good.
I've never seen anyone summon Tierra ONCE let alone twice in one duel. Makes me wish I hadn't taken a nearly 20 year break from yugioh so I could have the same encyclopedic knowledge of every card and engine in the game. And then use it to win with terrible meme decks.
Duel Terminal and the Qlis/Shadolls/Tellarknights are the same. The Naturia Sacred Tree is the Zefra Field Spell and Qlimate Change is the Tree. World Chalice looks like an independent story though, only real connection is Avida having a Qlife's End on it.
This is great Mr. Logs. Consider using 2 Drytrons as XYZ materials (if you have 12 cards) so the cards go to grave after shuffling everything (including the xyz)
I'm a Megalith Drytrons player and it was hard seeing you struggling with the combo like that xd Try using Benten to get Sanju or Manju to your hand (which gives you an additional ritual monster or spell) and it can be used again by Phul's effect.
Also I have a deck idea for you. Exodia, Legendary Defender Rekindling deck. You play the pretty recent exodia card a d all you need to do is to spam fire type monsters to the graveyard so you could use Rekindling to summon the highest attack ones (they're a couple Laval synchros that could help you out). Tribute everything for Exodia and you need to have the link 2 dinosaur monster to the extra monster zone and Lair of darkness. I recommend you play extravagance since besides the link 2 monster, no extra deck monsters aren't that important.
If you came up with this deck yourself, congratulations man you beat over 95% of Master duel players in creativity and ingenuity. Also that "I can special summon from my gy too?" was gold LOL. And pls don't beat yourself with math or figuring best combos, mistakes are just human

Drytron does plenty wrong. They get so much free advantage it's insane lol. Why the hell does Mu Beta have 3 effects? When I found out it was not only a free ritual summon and a foolish burial, but also a spell/trap negate? I lost my shit lol.
I used to play tierra in zefra before MR4, it was really easy to fullfil the conditions, though obviously it was just a gimmick at most, in a very casual deck lol.
I love Drytron it was the first secret pack I unlocked playing YGO again. It's just too bad about the Herald... I'd rather do dumb stuff like DNA Surgery to loop Idatens for infinite power!! and give my opponent the most satisfying magic cylinder ever.
I made this card back then with the xyz change tactics and spamming norton when it was legal with re-fusion and hidden armory. Also used watch dog to get the card to my hand.
The animation for cards being shuffled back to the deck/extra deck should have them all be face down, so it doesn’t have to try as hard to render them and to speed up the animation.
He could have added benten and Eva and his deck would have more speed lmao rather than brick. Dryton just goes full speedrun when it has access to Eva and Benten.
Compare to Sophia the goddess of rebirth, sophia is better than Tierra because sophia banish all card hand, field and graveyard. Same difficulty summoning but sophia is easier compare to Tierra since it can used opponent XYZ, synchro, fussion or ritual monster to do a summoning. Eldlich can be bad match up if using tierra source of destruction since eldlich is also graveyard oriented deck. Casual mode will coming soon at least have some place to play gimmick deck. Asside then event. Useless sophia the goddess of rebirth, i believe it human is nekroz of sophia since the skill almost identical and the artwork are almost identical each other.
i remember when i played this in sky striker during triple engage times. was it good? absolutely not. was it funny and weirdly consistent? absolutely yes
The only time I faced this deck, it was splashed into an exodia draw engine. It was really fun to see tbh, but later on I got lucky draws and got wolfbark, went into silent honor ark and they surrendered lol Real fun to see it in play!
The only impossible summons in Megalith Drytron are the normal summonable monsters after dumping Arc Light with Diviner of the Herald's. If you use a Normal Summon on anything else you're probably in an awful position.
I'm confused by your deck choice. If you're serious about this. Use zefra, pendulum magicians. Croco synchro + oracle = tierra placed on top then draw which can't be ashed. Any foolish/shrine for dark wurm is a free +1. Access to halqi and electrumite for the 10. If you can't get 10, play for providence into path. With scale 1 and 7, you lock the opponent from summoning from grave deck or tokens. Dpe, adventurers. Do it again but I promise ul have more success with Zefra
@@Paracelsus. pendulum both wyrm type zefras, or just the lvl 3 wyrm with a zefra wendi to make stardust charge or croco. With the field spell if u synchro u cam place 1 card from deck to top, with the synchro eff placed as cl1. U draw. U can put tierra directly into your hand. Pend magician, with cards like duelist advent and harmonising you'll get more cards to field. Zefrath acts as a pseudo +2. As u make it scale 7 with the wyrm, and then get the add when u pend summon. End board turn 1 can be like. Oracle, providence, harmonising, time, then oaf dragon zefrath in scales. Make electrumite if needed but make sure you save your normal summon wendi to add back a zefra of unique name to your hand for tierra. It's a strong combo and often ul reach 9 names but struggle for 10th.
@@Paracelsus. Its consistent. You run terraforming 1, oracle 3, providence 3, 3 zefraniu (secret), and zefrath 3, you'll also run 1 duelist advent and 3 Pendulum call. You start any of these and ul be able to pendulum, 2 and ul likely have full combo, 3 and ul have fodder for bait if u didnt draw called by. Now u CAN run jet synchron and olion to give it much higher potency but itll kill the likelihood of tierra working turn 1. But the deck is very powerful at stalling with path, disrupting with zefra war from the hand or using zefra divine strike to negate. You can even leave secret on field as a 2600def wall with war, to pop on ur opp turn and end up with a search from secret. The toolboxing of the deck is what makes it strong.

I use to summon this with graydle. Since they equip to an opponents monster, skill drain, you will have ten different cards.
I'm not sure how you would search it but Ogdoadic can draw 10. Edit: Oh wait forgot it locks you into reptile.
I made this card back then with the xyz change tactics and spamming norton when it was legal with re-fusion and hidden armory. Also used watch dog to get the card to my hand.

The animation for cards being shuffled back to the deck/extra deck should have them all be face down, so it doesn’t have to try as hard to render them and to speed up the animation.

LMAO Benten would have made the entire duel twice as fast. Since at least with Benten you get an actual + added in every Drytron Tribute.
He could have added benten and Eva and his deck would have more speed lmao rather than brick. Dryton just goes full speedrun when it has access to Eva and Benten.
Compare to Sophia the goddess of rebirth, sophia is better than Tierra because sophia banish all card hand, field and graveyard. Same difficulty summoning but sophia is easier compare to Tierra since it can used opponent XYZ, synchro, fussion or ritual monster to do a summoning. Eldlich can be bad match up if using tierra source of destruction since eldlich is also graveyard oriented deck. Casual mode will coming soon at least have some place to play gimmick deck. Asside then event. Useless sophia the goddess of rebirth, i believe it human is nekroz of sophia since the skill almost identical and the artwork are almost identical each other.
i remember when i played this in sky striker during triple engage times. was it good? absolutely not. was it funny and weirdly consistent? absolutely yes

The only time I faced this deck, it was splashed into an exodia draw engine. It was really fun to see tbh, but later on I got lucky draws and got wolfbark, went into silent honor ark and they surrendered lol

The only impossible summons in Megalith Drytron are the normal summonable monsters after dumping Arc Light with Diviner of the Herald's. If you use a Normal Summon on anything else you're probably in an awful position.

I'm confused by your deck choice. If you're serious about this. Use zefra, pendulum magicians. Croco synchro + oracle = tierra placed on top then draw which can't be ashed. Any foolish/shrine for dark wurm is a free +1. Access to halqi and electrumite for the 10. If you can't get 10, play for providence into path. With scale 1 and 7, you lock the opponent from summoning from grave deck or tokens. Dpe, adventurers.

@@Paracelsus. pendulum both wyrm type zefras, or just the lvl 3 wyrm with a zefra wendi to make stardust charge or croco. With the field spell if u synchro u cam place 1 card from deck to top, with the synchro eff placed as cl1. U draw. U can put tierra directly into your hand. Pend magician, with cards like duelist advent and harmonising you'll get more cards to field. Zefrath acts as a pseudo +2. As u make it scale 7 with the wyrm, and then get the add when u pend summon. End board turn 1 can be like. Oracle, providence, harmonising, time, then oaf dragon zefrath in scales. Make electrumite if needed but make sure you save your normal summon wendi to add back a zefra of unique name to your hand for tierra. It's a strong combo and often ul reach 9 names but struggle for 10th.

@@Paracelsus. Its consistent. You run terraforming 1, oracle 3, providence 3, 3 zefraniu (secret), and zefrath 3, you'll also run 1 duelist advent and 3 Pendulum call. You start any of these and ul be able to pendulum, 2 and ul likely have full combo, 3 and ul have fodder for bait if u didnt draw called by. Now u CAN run jet synchron and olion to give it much higher potency but itll kill the likelihood of tierra working turn 1. But the deck is very powerful at stalling with path, disrupting with zefra war from the hand or using zefra divine strike to negate. You can even leave secret on field as a 2600def wall with war, to pop on ur opp turn and end up with a search from secret. The toolboxing of the deck is what makes it strong.
