Seriously, it's been several hours since I watched it. I was just driving home from the gym and I was at a red light when I remembered it, and I laughed out loud all over again.
@@yea4253 I agree, since it's not actually made of charcoal, instead it's made with some kind of chalk. The white 'charcoal' supplies don't contain any white pigment - just chalk.
When I sharpen my 2mm lead I put the graphite shavings in a tiny container. Works great for quick gestures where you want to capture the lighting as well as the gesture. Love all you people that use ash and graphite to do amazing things 😊
We have a couple.videos of that on the channel! I use a razor to expose more of the tip and then sandpaper it into a bullet shape. Under the video title, you can see that sharpening video linked!
@@vancoverdeduction9032 i know. The thing is I am 59 now. Since I have been watching prokotv videos on art (along with other’s videos) I have been wanting to go back and do what enjoyed when I was young. Honestly I wanted to work for DC and Marvel. Such were the silly fantasies of a child, right? (I won’t get to reasons why I stoped. Not relevant). Have you seen the 1st team up between Spider-Man and Superman released in 1976? I drew that at home. I saw and I drew. No tracing whatsoever. It was just the characters and the top portion of the Empire State Building. It was my favorite work. I did allot of freehand from imagination as well mind you. Now, at my age, when I make the attempt to draw anything it sucks. I sound like a whiner I’m sure.
I had gotten willow charcoal sticks and now I know what to use them for thank you they've been sittin in the box not being touched since I got them so this was really useful to know what to do with them now
When I was in grade 7, I took art as one of my subjects, I wish I knew they sold white & black only colour pencils because I brought 4 colour pencils for a year just because I ran out of white and black colour 😢
i def need all of these, i just finished sketching and shading an drawing the size of an 11 by 8.5 inch paper with a mechanical pencil 😬, it still looks alr, but it took FOREVER
I'm always wary of not inhaling charcoal powder by accident at home and my G Stan took an entire snort of it, I'll never be on the level of this modern day master
Comparing these mediums/strategies with what i was told to do in art class with brittle charcoal sticks that had very unpredictable hardness etc makes me feel a bit better about always thinking I'm missing something major when it comes to coal, it was bewildering to me that people actually enjoyed working with that sensory nightmare. People still might.. but all this makes it a bit better at least

Russian sauce 😂
I didn't make the name! lol
Русский соус хах
на самом деле этот материал называется графический соус
Почему русский то🤨?
Получил большую популярность в Российской империи (и т.д.) но был изобретён не в России. Поэтому называют русским соусом, но это ошибочно
