Efra, I also watched the Vice Interview with Ji-Hun as well. His TH-cam channel does have some episodes with English subtitles which are very interesting. He seems like a genuinely nice guy. He just posted some videos of him watching the Vice interview and he added additional information on his Big Hit trainee days that you should watch. He explained why he didn't try to continue with other companies. One of his early videos he shared how Suga took him to the emergency room when he fell ill in the middle of the night and how Suga stayed with him all night and even paid the bill even though all the trainees were financially strapped at the time. He repaid this kindness he learned from Suga, when Jimin fell ill one day! You should watch the ones with English Subtitles in his channel. :) FYI - RM had shared on a VLive once how so many of his earlier friends stop contacting him and he wondered why until a friend said they became uncomfortable and didn't want RM to think that were hanging on his newfound fame. RM said it made him realize that he needed to be the one to reach out to them first, to break the wall that his new "fame" had cause.
YES! i was about to comment about that as well. Like Efra said its sad because he wants to be friends with them but he feels like he can't and it automatically reminded me of that Vlive. It is very saddening but it does make sense to have that fear simply because many people do become that way when in the industry but I'm sure if the he reached out the boys would be grateful and welcoming, but i understand his hesistancy to do so. They've been friends since before BTS debuted and he stay in contact with for a while but then he said he had no choice but to not stay in touch because of their fame. Even before BTS debuted he knew that the others would make it big. But evertime he saw them on tv, he never saw them as a big rich famous boy band he just saw them as his friends. And he never envied them for their fame he just envied that they're still together and that he's not there standing besides them, going through everything with them. People around the world and in other reaction videos I've watched some people would say that they want to be the 8th member for BTS when in that documentary that guy actually was almost the 8th member. I do hope that one day his dream would come true and that he would be able to throw a huge get - together party with the members and the other BTS trainees that were in BigHit.
