The courage, strength and humanity of Ukrainians is an inspiration. I follow and support another animal rescue group in Ukraine so see images of the horrors inflicted on innocent animals and humans alike and what is being to done to help them. There are so many Ukrainians feeding, protecting and rescuing animals, including soldiers at the front - many have put their lives at risk to do it. Homo amans are the people of Ukraine.

Hello, thank you for your comment. In this particular case, this name is a reference to a popular scientific term in Latin language "homo sapiens" - thinking human. And it was reinterpreted to a loving human "homo amans".
