@JimmyBside all the Marantz I've ever seen do. To answer your question.
& yes, that's a huge draw for them. Look at other comparable recievers w/ white lighting. Don't go for near the premium that marantz do

I have a Marantz 2225 receiver I bought in 1977 second hand, absolutely beautiful sound and still going strong because it's been looked after and I have no intention of selling it, it will be passed on to my grandson who's had his eyes on it ever since he got into music, I know it will continue to be enjoyed and looked after.

At 4:43 as you're pointing out the Carver TFM15 amplifier, I spotted a Technics SH-9010 Parametric Equalizer. Very cool five band equalizer that lets you adjust the frequency and slope of each band. I owned one back in the late 70's and always regretted selling it. Well, when I saw it in the video I decided to go pay Banana records/audio a visit and found it still on the shelf. It's now on my shelf! Thanks for helping me in my quest to rebuild my stereo from the 70's.

Back in the early 70's I managed a HiFi shop in Illinois called Pacific Stereo .We had most major brands of equipment. I owned 2 of the best cassette decks at the time . Tandberg TCD 300 and the Advent cassette deck. I recorded music from vinyl to tape on both units Aside from the base being a little less pronounced when I a/b'd a synced record to the cd through a high end system, the sound was almost exact! That really blew me away. I made a cassette for Demoing stereo systems with every type of music that would match up with the customer. I played "In The Mood " ( Benny Goodman) for older folks and it was almost a guaranteed sale 😊 .

I have heard that place has millions of albums. I recently did some repair work on a CT-F700 for a friend. I wish I could have kept it. I scored a SX-6000 last summer that needed all new lamps. May recap it at some time.
