very good points about finding out which part of the system it is, regions, payload. And good point that many companies have their APIs available to check out, thank you!
Thanks for the suggestion. IMHO, lot of them are aggregation of whats available in the internet, moreover so many topics are not really needed for a candidate to prepare for FAANG jobs. Based on my interaction with FAANG interviewers, as long the candidate are aware of the basics, and have practiced few SD problems, they are ready. So, my goal is to create just few more SD videos, and then move on to something else.
@@ByteMonk Make sense. I was about to suggest DDA by Martin Kleppmann but thought it would be too dense so ended up suggestin Alex Ru one. Nvm. Waiting for your future ventures.🙏
The twitter example (linked in the description) should give you an idea how the API has been designed. Please let me know if you are looking for anything specific around design, happy to make a follow up video.
@@alekyanarne9840 ahh ok, if you are new, you should first learn about basics of REST APIs first, this video is about API Design from Interviews perspective and requires you to already have some working experience.

Your videos are good. They can be great if you add good references for further learning.
Thank you, I will

i wish you did a live example, and walked through how you would design it. i skipped through this and now have to go find people implementing it
