Those punches happened after every headbutt from Dubois. They were more to the side of the head, not behind. They're definitely not intentional. A lot of them happen when the opponent is turning his head away. You're trying to compare an intentional headbutt, charging in like a rhino, to Hrgović's 'rabbit punches.' I agree I believe hgorvic came into this fight with one thing on his mind and that's the spar he and dubois had years ago, he thought all I need to do is tag this guy and he's gone and it'll be an early night for himself, his arrogance cost him, he should of done what most professionals do and forget the spar and think we'll dubois is now a.man now not a young man growing into a man he should of prepared for a tough fight and not a fight against a young man he beat in sparring. When I saw hgorvic throwing soo.much at the start I was thinking he's trying to get dubois out early thinking dubois is the same version of dubois he sparred years back.... hgorvic got it all wrong threw too many punches tired himself out because he didn't t prepare for a 12round fight
Very simple for me that fight. I backed Hergy And it was HIS fight to lose in my opinion. He shot his wad WAY too early and the punch stats show this. He abandoned his usual style and chased the knockout WAY too early
Dubois definitely used his head as a third glove but Hrgovic was far too overconfident and blew himself out after 5 rounds. I also think Hrgovic's lack of power at elite level has been exposed and he needs to rethink how serious he is about Boxing if he wants to continue.
Shame on Referry and Advicer both from England Like Daniel Dubois which few Times shoot Filip Hrgović with His head. All Will back to dirty fighter Daniel Dubois, Will see !
Lets get this right DDD lost every round getting pinged all night til flip blew a gasket, and wen any boxer blows a gasket they will get smoked, plus it was a cut that stopped it so not impressed at all
Well, now we know what "By any means necessary" translates as in the ring. Disgusting from Daniel pathetic referring. It's called the sweat sciences and while I love a good photo reel KO, I absolutely lothe seeing boxers that implement really scummy tactics like that, more so when they get away with it dye to a soft or sht ref that has no business overseeing a fight. All that said, Hrgovic turned up out of shape, flabby, gassed and it was ultimately this combined with Daniels decent chin(or Hrgovic less than impressive punch power?) along with Daniels excellent condition that won the fight. For a fight of this magnitude, fighting in Saudi and the potential even bigger money fight for winning, Hrgovic's fitness, conditioning and overall attitude was an absolute disgrace. He was blowing hard by the end of 4, was clearly the superior fighter against zero defence brick-head Daniel, but was out on his feet a round or two before the fight stopped. The ref saved him from another one sided battering and heavy ko. That's not even my opinion, anyone watching could see the ropes were holding up Hrgovic at that point, nothing on his shots, no energy to move his head out of the way and Daniel was still fresh. I lost what little respect I had for both fighters.
Hrgovic has never once looked good in any pro fight. Rather, lackluster, lazy, and lethargic. His best win is a controversial decision over zhang. Hes done absolutely nothing in the pros to confirm he is what he is hyped to be. Literally a complete hypejob in all sense of the word. Looked good against dubois for the first 2 to 3 rounds and then ran out of ideas when his 1 2 punches didnt work. He simply banked on dubois quitting and the sparring from 7 years ago. Rookie mistake.
Dubois is Warren's protected best boy. He rigged the Lerena fight for Dubois. He put him in against Usyk with the game plan to low blow Usyk repeatedly and try to steal a win. Videos showing Dubois low-blowing Usyk double digit times in the fight. Feeds Dubois a 300 pound completely out of shape and off PEDs Miller. And in this fight he was losing every round until he headbutted Hrgovic enough to open those cuts. Then Hrgovic gets tired and basically gives up. Hrgovic for sure wasn't impressive, but ol' Dubious should have been docked multiple points or DQ'ed. When the ref stopped it in the 7th it should have gone to the cards. And Dubious would have lost on points. AJ is going to kill that kid. There's no way they allow Dubious to foul the cash cow like that. And AJ is levels above Hrgovic who couldn't miss with his right hand. But Frank gets a big money fight between two Brits at Wembley, Hearn gets the IBF belt for AJ, and everyone goes home happy.

I agree I believe hgorvic came into this fight with one thing on his mind and that's the spar he and dubois had years ago, he thought all I need to do is tag this guy and he's gone and it'll be an early night for himself, his arrogance cost him, he should of done what most professionals do and forget the spar and think we'll dubois is now a.man now not a young man growing into a man he should of prepared for a tough fight and not a fight against a young man he beat in sparring.
I backed Hergy
And it was HIS fight to lose in my opinion. He shot his wad WAY too early and the punch stats show this.
He abandoned his usual style and chased the knockout WAY too early
Hrgovic is a front-runner. Folded once he couldn't dominate. Had weak opposition recently.
Joe app Hatmans saying on his channel Dubois already signed for Aj fight ?
I didn't know it had already been signed. Has it?
@@joestunnerboxing App he has signed but not Aj ?
Dubois definitely used his head as a third glove but Hrgovic was far too overconfident and blew himself out after 5 rounds. I also think Hrgovic's lack of power at elite level has been exposed and he needs to rethink how serious he is about Boxing if he wants to continue.
Just say it how it is ,stop fluffing around it and making excuses for Daniel .
If the ref doesn't warn the fighter, then so be it, keep fighting, by any means.
This is true
The referee doesn't always warn, as you see in this fight. It was a British referee also.
Did a Holyfield lol
Those headbutts couldn't have happened to a nicer rabbit puncher like Hrgovic.
Justifying headbutts which caused cuts to punches that were to the side of the head (not behind).
I agree with everything except that AJ is levels above Hrgovic.
Daniel Duboishe ko'd Hrgovic cause of EXHAUSTION.. Hrgovic out-punched himself, Daniel Dubois was a punching Bobbled head pretty much the entire fight..
No one was KO'd. Comments on TH-cam are ridiculous.
Dynamite battered Hrygovic. Hrgovic can't talk he is a renowned rabbit puncher.
Hrgovic's reaction to the headbutts. He wasn't intentionally rabbit punching. Dubois was intentionally headbutting.
DANNY BEAT CATTS WITH BRIBES LOW BLOWS OR HEAD BUTS HAHAAHAHAHAHA
DD won fair and square!
It was not fair and square. Stop typing nonsense. Headbutts are illegal in boxing.
@@MrBri0523 Of course they are illegal. I did not see any headbutts by DD.
@@freedom4mealwaysWatch the fight again and pay attention this time. Slow it down if you have to. Dubois charged in head-first over and over again using his head as a battering ram.
@@MrBri0523 Did it cause cuts?
Daniel certainly used rough house tactics & used the bonce, a la Holyfield, Hagler etc, but he got away with it, so all's fair in love & war. Hrgovic didn't have enough to keep Dubois off, so good on Daniel. Bless up bro 👊
He used illegal tactics.
As long as the ref doesn't call it, then he did whatever he had to do to win. Hrgovich could have responded in kind if he wanted to. It's pro boxing.
What utter nonsense! What you have just described is anything but pro boxing, sounds more like unlicensed thuggery!
@@pooley3l33t you just have just started watching pro boxing. The ref is there for a reason. Get real.
@@louisquatorze9280 no about 30 years and your argument is child-like.
some really stupid responses, no there was no pay off etc, Hrgovic gassed and was going to get knocked out anyway and the ref ruled the cuts were caused by punches and was close to the fighters all the way through and not an "armchair fighter" watching on tv, grow up and accept the loss is legit, Hrgovic had no energy left and DDD was walking through what he had and landing more big shots, watch it again without the commentary on as that was not exactly unbiased
The referee ruled it a head clash. It was overturned afterwards without any proof/evidence. Who is stupid now?
@@MrBri0523 you are because that is total crap, the ref is the only one who can rule on the cause of a cut and that he did that was mentioned in the.commentary, go amd read the rules and see for yourself instead of listening to a the butthurt conspiracies, your boy got beat and that is it, you haven't heard Hrgovic or his team complaining so get over it and stop being so bloody stupid
@@MrBri0523 you are obviously, learn the rules as you evidently have no clue, the judges make no decisions and are not allowed to overrule the ref full stop, they have to go with what the ref tells them, and was clearly stated in the commentary during the fight the ref ruled a punch for the first cut
@@MrBri0523 nothing to say for yourself now I see, a couple of facts always shuts up the pants wetters
@@andyc750The BBBOFC overruled the referee. Do some research before you type.
Hrgovic is one of the dirtiest most arrogant fighters in the circuit
Well done Daniel . . . . .
It could not have happened to a nicer rabbit punching boxer.
Totally incorrect. Justifying intentional headbutts is ridiculous.
