    Enjoyed that chaps . Nice to see anglers with more than one string to their bow . Some lovely shots as well .

      Thank you 😊 glad you enjoyed it. Yeah it seems to be something which doesn’t happen all to often anymore. Unfortunately I think we’re the last generation of anglers who truly enjoy ALL aspects of the sport.

      Thank you!
      I did a video recently where I talked through my bottom bait rig. “Catching Carp in the rain” check it out on the page mate. Should help you a little.
      Also, you can’t go to far wrong with a Chod set up this time of year, plenty of fresh weed growth that a Chod will present over and a great way to move around and find the fish 👍 don’t be shy with bait either. They love a good quality boilie and definitely respond well to a good amount of bait. Tight lines mate 😊

    • @ScaleyJournal
      @ScaleyJournal  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes mate it’s a day ticket stretch, I’m sorry but I can’t remember the name of it. Owain booked it for us 🤦‍♂️😂

    Hi guys. Great videos me and the Mrs enjoy watching them. We are heading up to Ross on wye the 9th of September but don't really know the area. Do you guys recommend any spots to fish that are day ticket? Last time we struggled to find anywhere as we were not familiar with the area..any advice much appreciated. Keep up the great filming.
    matt

      @ScaleyJournal  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah we both favour Courtfield. It’s a fantastic stretch, part of the Wye and usk foundation. Lots of water to fish and plenty of holding areas for fish. Good parking at the bottom end of the beat also 👌
