I, as a Catholic, can understand the Calling. I spent 9 years fulfilling the call to Religious Life as Carmelite Missionary. My deepest calling is far more difficult to put into motion, ie; the Hermit Life. I wish the best for Brock and Alex.
I know both Brock and Alex will be wonderful Missionaries. Sad that won't be here when their little niece gets here. Hopefully 2 yrs passes by quickly! I’m sitting here bawling. My sister was married to a military man & every time they left to go back to the base after a leave I’d bawl my eyes out. My sister was 11 years older than me. So u 2 I know how u feel. It’s hard. My sister & her husband spent 3 years in Germany & my neice was 2 when we finally got to see her. ❤❤❤❤❤

I want to let you know that you guys are going to be great Brock and Alex I know the Lord’s going to be with you as you do this mission for two years and be able to be your best missionary ever and I want to say his name is Jesus Christ amen.
Is it randomly selected where they serve? Some seem to go so far away and others are still in the USA (obviously both hard to be away from home!) I live next to the Edinburgh, Scotland mission house and LDS church!

Feels like Dallin’s family is more authentic in their relationship to your religion. Feels like Alyssa’s family dips their toes into their religion but it’s like Mormon Light - maybe they follow the rules, maybe they don’t. Much more casual.
I had two missionaries and no holidays or visits w family… they are kept very busy and immersed in the mission. Now missionaries are allowed more calls but more that they immerse in the country the better for all. A family behind is blessed with a special spirit !!
