I’ve always wanted a silver or gold streaker back in the 90’s… I’ve heard they’ve come out with a silver one in the last few years but never tried it. Sanford only made the 4 colors consisting of black, white, red and yellow and when Sanford sold their company to Rubbermaid they ditched the old packaging/container and discontinued the 2 other colors. The quality of their streakers sucked to the previous ones. I still have a few of the Yellow Sanford Meanstreaks in its old original container same style as the Sakura solids. Sakura had all the dope colors though… teal, purple, blue, orange and brown along with the standard white, black, red and yellow. Only old heads will remember the brown color ones… those got discontinued in the late 90’s. I’ve tried the fluorescent color Sakura solids back about 8 years ago and they sucked! They looked dope at first then faded hella quick in like a week out here in the L.A. sunshine. 😩 I even bought the glow in the dark one… nice concept but it sucked. 😆 Man when we were kids we’d go on missions throughout the city hitting all the stationary stores to rack their streakers… we had a lot of cool little hidden spots that stocked the Sakura solids and Sanford meanstreaks… then you had the bigger chains like Staplesand Office Depot that stocked only the yellow and white Sanford streaks. Shit even Ralph’s Grocery store had White Sanfords on deck along with Krylon spray paint in Ultra Flat Black and white, Hunter Green, True Blue, Leather Brown, Cherry Red, and popsicle orange. Man I miss those days! 😂
