We are new to CC, I have one in Essentials who is in 4th grade too. It’s been an adjustment but I love it! Have you ever thought about laminating and spirl binding your charts!?
Check to be sure you are on the Essentials tier (you have to pay separately for the Foundations tier and the Essentials tier). Then type "chart b" in the search box and the cursive chart should come up! Let me know if you have trouble finding it.
On average around an hour. Kind of depends on what stage we are in with the paper writing process. Some kids might not have an hour capacity their first year.
