I live in Queens and some of those areas are quite familiar to me ESPECIALLY 179TH St. You should've gone through the bus terminal to show where certain buses go to different areas in Queens, but this was still a lot of fun to watch!!
I used to take buses from Richmond Hill to Merrick Blvd. Going to Long Island. SS building was still being built. The Archer Station was being constructed. Pass by Rufus King Park, the old Episcopal Church? Sometimes coming home i would walk from Jamaica bus station to Richmond hill. I would pick up lots of cans and bottles to make some extra bucks.* Edit, if I'm not mistaken the house of McDowell, Coming to a America was filmed in Jamaica Estates.
Great walk, sweet to explore and nice video, I really liked it. Greetings from Puerto de Santiago in Tenerife. I love Tenerife and upload videos from Tenerife daily.
Great vid! I work across the street from where you started but I never ventured this far on foot. (Probably bc I can’t stand all the smoking on the main avenues and by the train station - lol). Nice to see the fancy parts I’ve never been to. Subscribed!
Wow!!! Dios Te Bendiga. 🙏❤

Our family is excited to walk with you around New York. We rested a lot so we could make it😂. There is still so much to see in New York. Glad we have a pro to show us around. LL cool J is the man. Cool to see where is from.
A lot of changes happening in Jamaica, Queens. So sad, like most instances of gentrification, the improvements are made to attract a new demographic and price out the old demographic. The original inhabitants of the area won't be able to enjoy the investment that was finally poured into this neighborhood.
I grew up in Queens 70's 80's and 90's but it has changed alot they're gentrifying the heck out of Queens memories oh memories of the old days
Ive been gone over 18 years ... its changed so much!! Hollis/south Jamaica

I love fall afternoons with Manny in New York That is a very beautiful residential neighborhood It reminds me of the Gardens in Forest Hills
It has a bit of resemblance to Forrest Hills since it's not top far, I love the fall season.
This is why I love your streams. You find different things to see every time, love it.
I appreciate it Brian.
I’m on the Jamaica/Springfield Gardens border, but I don’t visit “downtown” often. It looks unrecognizable to me with all those high rise buildings.
Hi Are You Doing? @MannyExplores, I Came On Here Late!! I Like Your Videos!! Every Last One!! Keep You The Good Work.

I don't think I've ever been to Jamaica.. although I've heard about it.. neighborhood looks a little like Jersey City with all the condos going up..
