On the both structures. Synaptic membrane ka concept h muscle me jha par muscle ko excite karne ke liye neurotransmitter release hoga or receptors se attach hoga or yha par ek neuron se dusre neuron ke liye bhi yhi principle apply hoga. Yhi same cheez eye me bhi hoti h.
