- Hey everyone, hope you’re all doing well.
So for this video I thought I’d take you out on a little drive to show you what my new exhaust sounds like. The exhaust I have opted for is the Scorpion cat back & GPF delete. You can find it here:

Sounds fantastic, reminds me of when I had my R56 with the scorpion system. Got a quieter exhaust on my new car now but still pops from time to time!

Just curious did you run in your engine properly? And for any mk8 ST owners out there thoughts on it?
Great video by the way, will be looking into getting this installed potentially on mine! Never modified my cars before so I’ve always been a bit skeptical. Does this affect your insurance much or did you not add it?
I took it easy for the first 500 miles then had a little rag now and again up until the first 1k - it was hard not to😂 & thank you very much! I was exactly the same - this is the most I’ve done to the car. In relation to insurance, admiral only charged me the admin fee but different insurances can differ x
Modern car manufacturers run the engines in quite extensively before fitting them to the car.
Right tell me how you got insured on this? I was going to buy a stage 2 fiesta ST with 240bhp the insurance was 15k, before this I had a BMW E60 M5 and Subaru Impreza WRX (1k each to insure) . i think I’ll have to blame it on the chavvy boy racer who have them on finance 😩

If you play the video back you’ll notice that once I hear the ticking noise the camera cuts out, this is where I pulled over to check

Definitely sound better than the mark 7 but overall looks I'm not sure it looks as good.

I fitted my scorpion last week, defo the best sounding exhaust!!
I’m heading to the rolling road tomorrow to see what power I’m setting now.
The pops and bands are so good with the scorpion.

Can't decided to go for the non resonated or the resonated milltek.... Can't find vids with a resonated catback...
I had the non res but in my opinion was too loud for the daily use. So I bought the resonated GPF delete but with the stock back box is too quite 😂 so in my opinion the best option is resonated+Milltek or scorpion back box

You mentioned about getting funny looks, I wouldn't read too much into that. Often when someone sees a nice car that they like, they look at the driver, me included, even back when I had my Escort RS Turbo years ago, they had such a cult following that heads would turn wherever I went in it. It wasn't standard it had 205 bhp and was lowered and sounded mint :-)

Was it the GPF delete that makes it pop every gear change or have you got a pop and bang tune
It pops from standard in sport/track, an exhaust/gpf delete/map intensifies the pops
I’ve got a performance edition exactly like that with a stage 1 and a cobra exhaust, like you said it pops and bangs in sports mode but I have to give it high revs in each gear to get it to pop, basically I liked how yours popped every gear change when you weren’t at high rpm, would a gpf delete make it do that?

It sounds great. How hot does the tips get under spirited driving? I cannot help but notice the new exhaust is mounted quite a bit closer to the back bumper/splitter.

...bloody nails!!! It’s happened at least 3 or 4 times, once on my i30N and 3 times on golf gti mkv, luckily a local garage plugged them each time for £15 👍🏻 no punctures in my MK8 ST but only had it for 3 weeks ☺️

Sounds good has a nice tone to it and also yes I get looks all the time and have people turning around and shaking there head or shouting abuse lol think it’s just because it’s modded and sounds like it’s going faster than it actually is but you get used to it 😂 also yours is bright orange so just draws your eyes to it 😉

Sounds great gpf delete really makes a difference I have gone for the milltek gpf back nowhere near as deep as yours but it still sounds awesome and the pops and bangs are very noticeable 💥 keep up the awesome vids 👍🏻

Great sound 👌🏻 defo want to get gpf delete on mine at least. Currently running Revo software, it’s an animal after remap. You will love it 👍🏻
