Gotta give it to Italy: They had the right idea putting Torpedoes on Fighters instead of making stupidly slow and unmaneuverable Torpedo Bombers.
The only problem is that you need to go slow to drop them
They could fix that if they had help from the Japanese.
Their Torpedoes had an average max drop speed of 500kmh.

Uh, that was only near the end of the war and Japan was quickly running out of torpedoes and pilots alike. The tokubetsu kougeki tai was a plan of desperation. Not run of the mill operations.

A large wing surface, and it's 300-400 kg lighter than the regular G.55. Yeah, no real surprise there actually. Just treat them like you would a Spitfire F Mk XVI or an LF Mk. IX(with engine damage... the G.55's DB 605A engine produces nowhere near the power that the LF IX's highly boosted Merlin 66 does). Except that these "Spitfires" can sustain high speeds in steep dives without worrying about their wings flying off.

Played with Lolidragon and DGAFF a couple of hours ago, I literally forgot to play, I was afk just watching. lol! After a rough week at work, that made my day. 102 days playing and I felt like I won the lottery! Thanks again Loli and Gaff!
Ben thedearhunter I died by Loli once in a random game and I just jumped in excitement. I fucking love these guys and seeing them in a random game was such an amazing experience even though I died.
Captain Obvious it was weird, like every time I get on and look and hope that I'd run into one of them. I mean I bought a computer and this game because they made the game look fun and amazing. Now it's an addiction and I never thought I'd witness them playing. Took me off guard and it was a perfectly timed experience.
It is always best to use any new planes right away, as they are often totally unstoppable and killer until the next patch. Italy would have won the war singlehandedly if their planes worked the way they do after first released.

This thing is easy mode against the russians. I don't know because I have it, I know because these things always demolish my team before i can even get to altitude.
It's really no surprise to see allied/soviet teams get slaughtered by the italians... they are still so new, almost nobody has figured out how to fight them.
The soviet teams you are talking about aren't using their great low altitude speed, climbrate and acceleration properly. If they would, they would slaughter the italians, because none of their planes is competetive in the speed department at low and medium altitudes. Also, most of the italian fighters can't retain their energy well in the vertical, thanks to the large wings that give them their agility, and the high induced drag this produces.
That means, if you're up against italian monoplanes in soviet monoplanes(except for the I-16 series), stick to high speed slashing attacks... one pass, haul ass. Keep extending in the horizontal outside of their gunrange, then use your speed and climbrate to get above them, rinse and repeat. If you start dogfighting them, you lose. Especially above 4km...
If they are above you, simply keep your speed high and lure anyone diving onto you into a shallow dive up to about 600-700 kph, then level out slowly. The italian will have lost his altitude, and will rapidly lose the speed built up in the dive, because their top speeds, as said before, are not great at all. Just don't try steep dives, italian planes in general can get up to REALLY high speeds in a dive without breaking apart... that's historicly accurate, by the way... even the Tier 1 MC.200's can get up to 800 kph IAS in a dive.
Unfortunately, most soviet players are so used to be able to dogfight and swarm most opponent teams, that they usually have no clue how to properly energy fight, and if they meet enemy planes that can turn and burn better than them, they get slaughtered. Sound familiar? Yeah, that's what japanese teams usually do to soviet teams...
In other words... fight them like US teams are supposed to fight, just at lower altitudes!
... and now you know how to tackle both italians and the japanese fighters*.
*)the Ki-84 is the only exception for the japanese, these are monstrous performers at altitudes below 5km in all regards except high speed controlability... they stiffen up bad above 600 kph IAS, especially in the roll axis.

Because the gun can't damage the actual ships in War Thunder, at least not AI ones. Maybe it works on player driven destroyers, but no one can test that.
What it can do is kill tanks, pillboxes and the oversized "landing craft".

Never thought I would hear such philosophical ruminations in a match full of crashing planes and disastrous teamwork. Anyways, to address the matter, over half the Earth's surface is covered by water, so it's not exactly accurate to describe the land mass as more abundant than water. It's just that most of us can't live in the ocean.

The answer to your branch question is the MARINE CORPS.
We're talking about the Wehrmacht here though - I don't think they HAD marines.
I guess one MIGHT be able to count the Waffen SS, but they were literally just the militarized enforcers of a political party (then again, so is China's People's Liberation Army - note how in their oath of loyalty, they pledge allegiance to the Communist Party of China, NOT the People's Republic of China).
They had the 1st and 2nd Naval Infantry Dev. While not the true dedicated marines; throughout the war in the North they where reinforced my the 1st Marine battalion.
In other words: They had very few actual marines.

I think this particular model is even in World of Warships, the Tier 6 Leander class or Tier 7 Fiji class. I'm not quite sure, I usually don't count the number of barrels on the main guns while I'm getting peppered by british pom poms. ^^

I think it might be the British navy, instead of the American navy, it is the battle of Norway.
If I am not mistaken those were U.S. Cruiser models? Edit: Just re watched it... Those were the "Light Cruisers" which are modeled after British Ships. I believe it is the Heavy Cruisers that are the ones that are modeled aft the San Francisco and such. Sorry I think I just saw the paint scheme and didn't study it at the moment.
