Leak in the washer - update | part 2 (at your own risk)

IMPORTANT: here is now an improved supplementary version (as the 2nd part) to the 1st video of mine:

A small/very thin piece of latex tape is put over the first grey one (see 1st video). It fits better to the rubber of the washing machine and now there are less water drops coming out of the damage. I hope it helps you and as always: use at your own risk.
Please always check everything at regular intervals after starting the washing machine (water leakage!).

Do you plan replacing the damaged door seal on your washing machine?

No I don't. We have been washing like this for about 3 years and it works quite well. If the machine is overloaded, then it can happen that a few drops come out. If you want to be sure, check after half an hour whether the machine leaks. For safety always put a cloth down (as shown in the first video).After a certain time you have practice.
