  • We are all made of the same stardust of which all things are made,’ writes acclaimed Italian theoretical physicist Carlo Rovelli. In this fascinating session, Rovelli and award-winning author and Yale astrophysicist Priyamvada Natarajan discuss the mysteries of the cosmos, the fabric of space, and the nature of time.
Inspired by the ancient Buddhist philosopher Nagarjuna, Rovelli takes us on a journey to explore the deeper meaning of the universe and our place in it, and sheds light on his recent works ‘Reality Is to What It Seems’ & ‘Helgoland’.

So much to learn from both of them. Articulate, poetic and deeply satisfying conversation,. Just that it was so short, but it just aroused the curiosity which kept me awake at night!! Thank you.

What’s striking is the patience and kindness of Rovelli in face of the vanity and pride of Priya.

Priyamvada Natarajan: You needed to talk a lot less so that Rovelli could have completed his thoughts at the level he was so good at expressing (and that you clearly were not) before interrupting him. A good interviewer learns how to do this. You created a tension that was a distraction. Rovelli knew where to go with this conversation and you should have just let him do it.
