Hi all. Ravana is one of the most powerful Asura in ancient times. Ramayana speaks about his valour and devotion towards Lord Shiva in detail. To get to know more about Ravana one can read UttaraKhandam of Valmiki Ramayana where in Rama enquires to Agastiya sage about Ravana. In Sundara Kandam Hanuma sees that in Srilanka, Ravana has set up such a kingdom that he himself got mesmerized for few moments. And Valmiki sage also mentions that, even Surya, Chandra, Vayu, Varuna, Agni gods all enter Srilanka only when Ravana wishes them to enter. Such was Ravana and his kingdom. And there is no surprise that he will have great defense mechanism to protect the country. These are all just a small drop in the big ocean. Request Praveen to read Valmiki Ramayana once and get to know in details about Ravana and his kingdom which will be helpful for him in further research.

(any brother would be out of mind watching what happened to his sister) but valmiki and kamban made the story ravana was fall in love with seetha and kidnapped her.
The book Ravana kavyam poetry by Pulavar Kulanthai. it was banned beteween 1948 to 1971. because of some part of the story against Ram(Who was portrait as hero)
This book mainly written from the point of view of Ravana.
and also the name of the father "Vishravas" ? FYI ramayana have around 300++ versions and every versions are different from one another. To find which was true ? we need to check the logical points.

It makes sense from a subjugation viewpoint, to make the occupied feel inferior and hide or discount anything that shows otherwise. But the same didn't occur in Egypt. This information should be intriguing enough for archaeologists to research more about India and it's past but I don't know why they aren't interested. Seems like the main stream academia is trying to hide something. And ah the British people, they own us money worth 40 trillion pounds in todays money, if the Indian people started asking for reparations they wouldn't have enough money left to buy a potato for their queen lol😂. This is totally intriguing. Why would any one construct citadel in the middle of inaccessible jungle on the top of a rock which is very steep and impenetrable. What is the compelling strategic need in those ancient time? Especially in Island which is remote to other places except to India? It means the civilization thrived in those time are of very advanced and must have got used technology which is totally different from today's.
That means Rama Sethu was built by man to reach Sri Lanka and must also have had equally advanced technology.

He was not a Hindu. He was an Aseevahar, which was the way of life of ancient Tamils. I've been fascinated by Sigiriya since I was a little child and did lot of reading about the history of the rock since early childhood. But, this video is the most eye opening than most of the reading I've done so far. Thank you very much for doing these videos. Absolutely mind broadening and entertaining.

I've been there, ages ago. Unfortunately, I don't remember seeing this entrance with the tanks and all the water. I watched 2 of your videos about Sigiriya and I don't understand why you don't mention the cavern situated halfway on the rock, the one with all the beautiful paintings. I would like to know about that cavern. Thank you, in any case, for your work... always well done and interesting!

Absolutely fascinating. We have no clew how these structures were built. There is so much more to our world than people realize. For me it reaffirms my faith in a higher power.
